Remarks
As far as I came to know the college give prior importance to the academics.They also have a good infrastructure ,but as my personal experience our class were shifted from where we was earlier to a new Campus which did not have as much as facilities as the old one.We get this to their notice and they had made improvement.Moreover some students face issues (with their seniors) which I hope will be over soon.
Course Curriculum Overview
I am studying Bsc Food Nutrition and Dietetics which is an amazing and goods course that give you lot of opertunities to look upon. It is a three year degree course which has its masters in the college itself.
Placement Experience
Yes the college provides placement and internship to the students who are in their final years of their academics. The college have a high reputation among the other colleges so are likely to get more job opportunities.
College Events
Lot of events happen during a year time. It starts from New Year to christmas at end. All celebrations are so colourful and beautiful each student enjoy maximum . We celebrate holi diwali, christmas, Onam, poojas, and all regional and cultural events like ethnic day, mismatch day, jeevam etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It vary according to the course. Yeah I will say the fee structure is feasible.If one is taking FLS course he/ she only needs to pay less than 50,000 per year.But If it comes to the medical or para medicals the minimum amount will be one lakh.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes.The college is providing loan and scholarship for students they provide scholarship for the backward classes like SC, ST and OBC students. There is also scholarship for the minority Communities and many other which I am not well aware of.
Campus Life
As the college encourge is academics, they also give prior importance to extra c curricular activities of the students. Sports and arts are given a good importance and teachers ensure that every student get to participate in all acti.As for labs, we have a very well occupied lab facility.
Hostel Facilities
Yes currently I am staying as a paying guest. I have looked the hostel facilities and did not find it convincing , so I took one of the pg's. Here I get proper food matching my interest. They also provide good accomodation facilities like clean bathrooms and beds.
Alumni/Alumna
The senior students are very helpful at the beginning they were little to to handle as they ragged us a little,but now they are friendly and caring we can be open and ask all our doubts and they will clear all regarding the college and the course.
Admission
It was through an interview the faculties asked some questions regarding my studies and I answered wisely. They also take a look on my high school and higher Secondary marks list which I had good marks so I got the admission without any fail .I was delighted as the college was so good and I did not had to struggle lot for the admission. The fee structure is also normal and is affordable to all.
Faculty
The faculty here we have is simply amazing. We, faculty of life sciences have a spectacular faculty who have a tremendous knowledge and is very helpful. Most of our faculty are PhD graduates. Our faculties are very kind and also strict when it comes to academics.
