nothing negative as per my point of vision, one thing that staffs and departments can be more helpful and guiding towards students, Most of the students are self building hence nothing else is required for them but some sort of guidance is required for the students
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is 4 years and we have 2 assessments for 50 marks the average of it is taken for 50 marks and the other 50 marks is based on the end semester exams. for Lab exams we have it as 75 to 25, 75 marks based on continuous lab activity and a model lab exam and balance 25 marks are based on semester exams
Placement Experience
Placements are excellent and more than 75 percentage of students who apply for placements get job here, College donot provide internships but they support any kind of internships, stipends are not provided.
College Events
we have two cultural fests in our college anda technical fests. The cultural event in the odd semester is AGNI it takes for 3 days Celebrities come here and students are involved in various events, in the even semester we have a cultural event called Techofes it is a bigger event than agni with same processes with more amount of celebrities and events, The techincal fest is kurukshetra which comes in even semester it has workshops events etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
very feasible, i pay only 3600 rupees per semester for college fees and 1200 rupees as exam fees since i am a first graduate, if i am not a first graduate my fees would be 7600 rupees it is very cheap compared to other private instituitions
Fees and Financial Aid
a lot of scholarships are available in our college. Those who can't afford the fees can apply for loan and easily can get loan through banks, since the fees is very basic most students donot prefer loans but apply for scholarships
Campus Life
There are more than 20 clubs of various genres in our college for bringing every young talent in us. There is a big sports ground with all the facilities to promote sports and also National sports organisation camp is held every year with trained coaches teaching sports, and also a sports day for the students, Labs are quite old but has all the facilities required for the modern world.
Hostel Facilities
yes, I am a hosteller in this college, hostels have continous water supply for drinking as well as other purposes each room has four members with two fans four chairs, tables and beds. the rooms are ventilated well.
Alumni/Alumna
We have a alumni association building in our college, various funds are coming from the alumni for the students and also the alumni are helping poor students who can't afford to pay the college fees, seniors are very interactive with the juniors and it is continually going every year and that is the reason for the success of the college.
Admission
Counselling based on 12th marks, we apply for engineering counselling through internet and then rank list is published we went to anna university and then we select the desired course and college, I selected college of engineering guindy and the course BE MECHANICAL ENGINEERING TAMIL MEDIUM
Faculty
Faculties are well trained and have high expertise is the field, labs have a professor and some lab assistants to teach for us, Great knowledge can be achieved from these kind of faculties hence we achieve excellence in knowledge about the course
