Remarks
Since this college is still a new brand I've noticed that there are problems with management and IT department. The positive point is that we as a student get hands-on with many tools which generally are taken in use by higher academicians.
Course Curriculum Overview
My course is UGC/AICTE approved so I needn't to worry about its credibility later in life. The course outline runs in parallel with the set guidelines of UGC. Exam is conducted for three times in a semester starting from sessionals to end term.
Placement Experience
I've two placements offer one from MMC and other from a core company. More than 50 companies have done their on campus recruitment in this session and more scheduled to come. The college gives ample amount of contacts to get an internship, depending on our skills the stipend can be anywhere between 3K-10K. I got an internship by the reference of a faculty. It was a core company and I got to learn about the practical applications of my subjects.
College Events
Cultural Fest - Oneiros, this is the annual fest where Teams from different colleges participate to show their culture and skills i.e. dances, singing etc. Moreover this runs in parallel with concerts, stage shows etc. Tech Fest - Techideate, this is the annual technology fest where teams from different colleges participate to showcase their technological advancements and researches. This runs in parallel with events like dirt races, robo wars etc. Mini Events TedX Euphoria
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is expensive, for my course I need to shell out 2.55 Lakhs annually. If a student wants to take hostel accommodation then total may go upto 5.5 Lakhs. There are other charges too if one opts for events, seminars etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
My college offers scholarships to meritorious performers. The scholarship schemes are mostly state and central government schemes. The minimum bar as per my knowledge is above 8.5 GPA and this should be maintained to avail the scheme for further semesters.
Campus Life
We've ample labs ranging from simulations labs to physics labs equipped with electron microscope. As per my experience we've never run out of practical resources. I do a CFD project which requires more than 250 GB RAM for computations.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors are helpful, graduated students pay visit whenever their time permits. My Project has a team member from PG so yes they're helpful. The alumni network is maintained by consistent communication.
Admission
I got the admission by clearing the annual MUOET entrance exam and there's a counseling round for allocation of seats according to rank and fcfs. I got to know about this college by my friends and surfing.
Faculty
The faculty of my department is well versed. It's divided into sections of professors who've a niche in particular area. I'm in the final year of my graduation and can say confidently that I've never seen a point where I wasn't able to deal with my academics.
