Our college is one of the great educational instituition in Kerala. The college is graded A+ by the NAAC department of India. Mar Ivanios college is also ranked 26th in the best colleges of India.

There are so many courses in the college both science stream and arts stream. There is also proffessional courses in the self financing department. Post graduation is also there for all departments. The examination processes are very reliable and proper. There is an internal examination compulsory before the End Semester examination. The internal marks are given through percentage of attendance , assignment, and the marks obtained in the internal examination.

The job opportunities after the academics is very good. Mar Ivanios college has a very good name in the society and among other educational instituitions. So a student from our college is given priority in the interviews as they have many talents.

Mar Ivanios College , Trivandrum is famous for its cultural activities and events. There are so many programmes conducted in the college by the College Union and the Management every year. The programmes are co ordinated by various departments of our college. There are inter department competitions and inter college completions. The Ivano Fest conducted every year is the prestigious programme of or college. There are so many events and competitions conducted in accordance with Ivano Fest.

The fee structure of our college is decided by the Government and the College Management. The fee structure is Semester wise. It is feasible for every category of students. The fee structure is proper as it is evaluated by the Goverment also.

The college give scholarships such as postmetruc scholarships. They also give scholarships for academic toppers every year. The marks obtained in the end semester exam of students are considered for this purpose. The vollege also give scholarships for those students who has won prizes in the Sports and cultural fests.

There are so many extra curricular activities provided in our college. There are clubs organised in the college for every cultural and other extra curricular activities. Our college is also giving proper support to the Sports students. The basketball team in our college is very famous. Though our college is a good platform for those who have extra talents and dreams.

I'm staying in the St. Thomas Hostel. It's the college hostel of Mar Ivanios College , Trivandrum. It is one of the well disciplined men's hostels in kerala. The infrastructure of the hostel is proper and systematic. It has a good atmosphere for the education process. The hostel is also famous for the various programmes conducted there every year by the students.

Our college has a well-known and working Alumni Association. The programmes conducted by the Alumni is very helpful for the students. They are always working for the development for our college. They are an important part of the college.

I got admission in this college through an entrance exam in accordance with the merit list conducted by the college. They took the marks of the entrance and my +2 marks proportionately. This was the criteria for the admission. Our course is related to the Chartered Accountant course. So the entrance exam was also very tough. Then they published the rank list in he college website. There was an interview before the admission.

The faculties in our college is very excellent. All are graduates and have a Ph.D in there subjects. There are proper faculties in every departments. They are all headed by an HOD in the departments. There is a proper system faculty advising in our college.
