My college

Yes, Although there are so many positive things about our college. We have a negative remarks on rowdism. Our college is loacted in the Yelhanka, Bengaluru. Surrounded by 50% of villages and 50% of cities consisting of 40% slum and 60% residencies. So, we have different students joining our college. There are student who have scored top 10 ranks of karnataka and there are student who have gone to jail for attempt murder too.

Saying about the course structure. Our college belongs to Bangalore university. Here, everything is theory. We just mug up instead of understanding the real time use. And exam structure is we have a final theoryband practical exam for every semester. I wish there would a 60% of practical in real time use and 40% of theory to understand the back end of the experiment.

Placements are very good, i was placed in infosys as a operations executive in 2017. We have many companies walking in to hire graduates. From BPO to software engineer designation every one have a placement opportunities.

We have Cultural Fest - whole college and departments come together to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi and conduct cultural events.Then we have department wise festival. Since i was in computer relayed we had inter college competitions related to technical things.

Reasonable. When i was studying First Sem - 20,000, Second Sem - 20,000, Third Sem - 18,000, Fourth Sem - 18,000, Fifth sem - 18,000, Sixth Sem - 18,000. Now, they would revised the fee structures according to the standard procedure.

Yes, We have college scholarships from bangalore University. For Below Poverty Line people like Schedules caste and Scheduled Tribe we have scholarships every year from 10,000 to 30,000 and for other OBC also we have from 3,000 to 10,000. We need to apply it for each and every academic year.

Yes, We have a ground, Lab, Sports section, NCC, NSS, Cultural Committee, Film Club.We have separate lectures allocated for each department and their role is too find out the best one and encourage them in what they do.

Yes, they conduct alumni meet every 6months. Principal himself insist every department to invite all the alumni to the alumni meet. We would see around 2000 people turning up for all alumni meet. They provide a speech and followed by lunch and they discuss about future possibilities with a guest lecture from alumni students.

I applied to this college though standard application process. Since, my grades were good. I got it through interview process in first list itself. Every department HOD will be in the interview process and they guide which one choose based on our academic marks.

Faculities are good, we have lecturers who have Phd degree and Masters in their respective colleges. Everyone give their best to teach us. But, some faculties are not good. 1/10 ratio in our lectures.
