Remarks

Good thing about the college is the availability of good food court like Java and nearby market in which one can find chores for daily needs. The facilities and technology is very advanced here. The bad remarks would account like slow wifi in hostels.

Entrance Preview

I took SRMSAT and got a rank of 4700. I was able to get computer science engineering course. I opted for this college after talking to aluminus of the college and the great and varied infrastructure with best facilities among private colleges.

Internships Opportunities

Yes they do provide after 2nd year. The stipend varies from 5000-15000 a month.

Placement Experience

Placements are extremely good here. Most of the students get placed in mainly TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Cognizant.

After 6 semester the students are eligible for all the core and it placements. For us the core companies are Capgemini tech pub(32), sopra steria(5) and boeing . The highest package is 8lpa and average is 5 lpa Out of 100 55 students are getting placed each year. I got placement in Capgemini and I am working on Capgemini.

Is VIT worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements in VIT UNIVERSITY is very good the average package is 8 lakhs and the Highest may go upto 1 crore every year.There is a separate placement cell in VIT chennai and they give you placement training from start of the third year. Many multinational companies like google, microsoft etc comes to VIT to pick students for their company. Almost 98 percent of the students gets places in VIT. After my degree I choose to sit for placements.

I applied at PDEU, Gandhinagar and SRMIST and both colleges admissions were almost done but since my family is from Chennai, we al decided to stay close to home atleast for UG.
