Review of Government engineering College Nowgong.

Positive- Because Strength of students in College is less so every student is special. Faculties are well qualified and dedicated. They helps us for various compatative exams. Negative- Alumni network is not strong. College is situated in less developed area so not big exposure. Lack of laboratory and good library. Hostel facility is not available till now.

My college is Technical college. It provides degree of Bachelor in technology ( B. Tech). It has only two branches , Civil and Mechanical engineering. But from Next year it will offer degree in Electrical and Electronic engineering. It does not offers Master degree.

Because My College is new, So that it lacks Alumni association . Placement scenario is not that Good. But Passed students are doing good through compatative exams and are fetching jobs in many fields apart from technology. Students have to do minimum of 3 internships during their degree.

In my College A 6 days long Sport event "Aarohan" is celebrated. It consists of Many games like Cricket , Football, Table tennis, Chess,Carrom, Badminton , Kabaddi, Athletics and kho kho. All students participate very enthusiastically . Certificates and Trophies are provided to winners

Because my College is Government funded So Fee structure of College is nominal. One have to pay only ?22300 for a year. Students can avail 100% scholarship. For Sc st category their is no Fee because same can be achieved through Scholarship.

I have availed TFW sheet.Means tuition Fee waiver .This sheet is given to poor but meritorious students of General category. You have to pay no fee , but only other fee. "Vikramaditya scholarship" is given to general category poor student which cover your 100% fee. Post Metric scholarship is given to OBC students. SC ST category students are given full scholarship.

Their is A cricket and football ground in College premise. Badminton and table tennis court is also provided. College hosts a 6 day log sport Fest called "Aarohan" in which any student of College can participate and showcase his skills. Their are about 10 different games in the fest.

Since My College is new so Hostel facility is not available, but Hostel building has been constructed and will open in months. Hostel infrastructure seems good , it is well oriented and not very far from academic section

Because College is new so Alumni network is not that strong but they are all Very helpful. They provide valuable suggestions throughout the study and also for compatative exams. Some of them have achieved and very good and High profile jobs.

I written JEE main test. On the basis of ranking , you will be given admission through DTE( Directorate of technical education) portal. DTE portal can be assessed from MP ONLINE kiosk centres. Portal generally opens in july month.

Faculty of my college is well qualified. They are all M tech holder from Indian institute of technology and other reputed Colleges of India. They are of very helping and of good nature. They keep environment of class very light but compatative.
