Remarks

Considering its the best nit in India, almost everything is positive about it but there are also some negatives like the moral policing happening here by some faculty here and water issues and wifi problems but nonetheless it's the best we can get

Course Curriculum Overview

4

It's going pretty good and exam structure is like we have two cycle tests throughout the semester and a n end semester examination the cycle tests also called CTS have 20 marks eachamd end sem is of 50 marks other 10 marks for assignment

Placement Experience

4

The placements are about 100% in our college considering its an nit and we have a lot of companies which come here for placements for the final years and internships for the third years, the stipend varies according to the company and they have different profiles so everyone's experience is different

College Events

4

We have the cultural fest like festember, and the first years only event called aaveg and technomanagorial fest called pragyan, an iso certified organization which are pretty famous in South India alot of people from other colleges visit to witness these fests

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee Structure is I guess a little bit mediocre not too expensive not too little the main tuition fee is around 60k and hostel feel is 30k but we have fee waivers like those families who have less income should only pay 25k and those whose are less than one lack should only pay around 3k for tuition fee l, hostel fee has no deductions.

Fees and Financial Aid

If your parents income is less than 5 lack you should only pay around 25k if less than 1 lack only 3k this is very helpful as poor students can also avail this scholarship and regarding other scholarships we have scholarships that are given by the alumni of nit Trichy to some talented candidates

Campus Life

4

Sports is very active in our college we conduct sportsfete which is an interdepartmental sports event which includes every event that anyone interested can participate in, and the sports teams travel to other colleges like iit bhu to participate in their sports events

Hostel Facilities

4

I've opted for a hostel, my hostel experience is 3/5 because i had to change hostels frequently and water problems are huge but other than that the hostels are maintained very clean and we have free wifi until 1am and If any repair happens in your room you can contact EMC they'll reach you within a day etc

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network is also very huge because it's an nit and we have a seperate club to manage the almuni called the alumni relations which communicates between students and the alumni, and alumni also provide some infrastructure that we students can work with

Admission

To enter into NITs we have to write the jee mains and secure a good rank and some ranks are alloted different colleges so you have to choose the college and courses they offer and fill a list of preferred colleges and they have rounds in which you can fix your college and course or slide up for other preferred college if eligible

Faculty

4

They're upto the mark. They follow their course plan and some are a little goofy and nonetheless they teach good if you're attentive enough to the classes. But mostly there are good faculties here and there

There is no relevance with the current industry standards and also i chose this course as i saw potential for development and research in this field with the rapid innovation in the AI field. There is a lot of room for improvement like teaching the current industry practices and it's basics.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well designed and covered both fundamental and advanced concepts. We choose elective papers each sem one paper from third sem. That selection of elective papers made us to do case study of real world exposure and competency. The curriculum prepared us for the reasonable real world applications. Also workshops and internships bridged the gap between industry expectations and academics. The teaching methods are really supportive and knowledgeable. On the whole the curriculum was strong and but needs to be imapctful.
