Remarks

Overall it is good(not that much great also). Main thing to change is to treat the students as undergraduate students, not like school students. And another thing to improve is giving equal opportunities to all the level of students.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

It is good. CBCS system has been implemented now. But being the first batch of CBCS, we struggled a little bit in terms of the syllabus and all. Some of the key courses like Computer Graphics and Digital signal Processing were missing.

Placement Experience

4

Placements and job opportunities are good. Nice companies with good package visit the campus. Average package was around 5 lakh CPA and maximum package was around 20 lakhs CPA. Placement training is given to students from all the department.

College Events

2.5

Many cultural and technical intercollege and intra college events are organized in campus. Technical programs are good exposure for students who are interested in learning and showing skills in technical field.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee Structure is feasible. It is around 8 lakhs for Indian students and 20 lakhs for Nepali Students and 16000$ for other students. Scholarships are provided from various sources like alumni cell. The donation fee taken at the time of admission for management quotas is expensive.

Fees and Financial Aid

Various scholarships are provided by college like from alumni cell and SNR trust. These scholarships are sufficient enough to students for their extra expenses and pocket money. Beside than college scholarships, indian embassy in Nepal offer scholarships for Nepali Students.

Campus Life

2.5

Extra curricular activities and sports in college are quite good. Various tournaments happen periodically so interested students can take part. Labs are not quite good. Even computer labs are not fully equipped.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

International Hostel was good in accommodation but local food was provided. So faced difficulty at first. Other than international Hostel there are two boys and one girls hostel where in average 4 students are accommodated in room which is quite difficult for students and wifi facility is also not good.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is good. They organise various program for better networking of the alumnus, but the connectivity of alumni and current student is not much good. Help and support from senior students is good.

Admission

I got through Indian Embassy. Exams taken by Indian Embassy, Nepal and selected students will be allocated colleges throughout the India and I got it. It is in full scholarship and only for Nepali Students.

Faculty

2

Faculty are also good but not all of them. One bad thing is treating students as school children. Some of the faculties are not well versed in English and use local language for teaching which was difficult for us as international students.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

Placement Experience:

Chennai Institute of Technology is an instituition that truly prioritizes student career growth . The placement cell is exceptionallu well-organized ,consistently connecting students with reputed companies across various industries. What makes CIT stood out is the quality of its training staff. They focus heavily on communication , technical knowledge and competitive preparation ,align students with what top companies expect ,and contiuosly push us to improve and meet industry standards. Their structured training helped me to clearly identify my strengths and work on my weak areas, which made a huge difference during interviews and boosted my overall confidence. The department faculty are equally commnedable ,knowledgable ,approachable and genuinely invested in student career. Overall CIT is an excellent choice for anyone focused on building a strong and sucessful career
