RMD Sinhgad

This college is averagely good not so downgraded also not so upgraded. You can expect above average college life here but campus is very limited, infrastructure is best, faculties are very good. Teachers are very helpful in nature.

Exam and courses are decided by SPPU, pune. All cource curriculum is based on their given timetable. For first two years there is online+endsem exams and for next two years there is insem+endsem exam criteria.

Placements are very good if you are in CS, IT or E&Tc branch. But for civil and mechanical placements are not so good. You can expect package after engineering according to your branch, for IT CS E&Tc you can expect averagely 3.5 LPA package after degree completed. College doesn't provide any internship.

Most loving and grand festival of all sinhgad colleges is Sinhgad Karandak. It is very enjoyable. Alongwith karandak individual Institute arranged some events during month of February. Also induction program is conducted for new students. Techtonic is another good event.

As compared to all things concerned the total fee is much large. You should wait for another college if you are general category student, I am saying this because in this fee structure you can get much advance college than this.

I honestly don't know about loan facility but for general category there is scheme by government EBC is available. Under EBC 40% of tution fee is returned to you after you applied to it once you got admitted in every next year.

Extracurricular activities are there in campus as well as out of campus but those activities are so expensive. College encourages you to be part of these kind of activities, they also guide you to prepare for that level.

Senior students are always in touch with the Institute. Some of them visit regularly and share their experience with students also. But very few alumni does that. Some alumni takes guest lecture also.

After 12th by giving MH-CET exam, on the basis of obtained marks in that exam, I admitted in this college. MH-CET exam is one option or JEE main is also another option to get admission in this college but through JEE only 20% seats are available per year.

College faculties are very good in nature. Some of them are strict but after few days you will get used to it. Not so much strict as other colleges has. They are very kind to students , trying to solve students queries.
