Good college, good faculty, good labs

The faculty is very interactive loud and clear some even carry mic along. All the classrooms have projectors and overall great ambience throughout. For negative, there is always a huge line for railway concession and they are very lazy about that. Its annoying sometimes.

Course curriculum is as the university , whatever rules and instructions come from the University are followed and anything except that is not considered.Exam structure and all are flexible unless strictly given dates from the University. Ample time is given to study.

Since the start of the first year there have been atleast one or two courses with internships every year at a minimal price , the courses provide good knowledge and interships help to test them. Some are paid and some are just for learning. Job placement and all is good and it starts from the 5th sem itself.

Basically everything is celebrated especially sikh and Punjabi festivals , saree day , traditional day and all are also celebrated. Fests are organised from every single department like IT , biotech , bms etc and nazrana is the main fest of the college which is quite grand.

Fees structure and all are quite feasible and can be paid in various installments, the course fees per year basically range from 10000 to 40000 per year , though mine is just 33000 even though i am from IT.

College does provide sikh scholarships and other minorities too. My frnd has a similar scholarship wherein he pays only half the fees , other than that the department is readily available for help and supports such students too.

Khalsa is basically a sports and culture centred college and will definitely entertain good athletes may it be any sport and help you with the same. They have a huge ground and a gymkhana too for various activities.

Senior students help alot, from suggestions to useful tips and techniques they are always ready to help and some even guide you throughout. There is no attitude in them as such unlike a few college seniors though.

I had applied in several colleges but eventually forgot to check each of them , got a call from sies nerul for admission so i was about to take admission there but somehow next day my friend asked me to try for khalsa since it was nearby and good too ( their cutoff was 57 and i had 59 ) so i just went with my dad after the 3rd list and spoke to the HOD of IT and eventually got admission there.

Faculty and extra staff are really nice and considerate until you dont do any mischief.They ll help you in any way possible if only you are ready to take it.mostly all the facilities are made available within the college for all the students.
