Entrance Preview

SRMEEE- It is engineering entrance exam conducted by SRM University every year, and they select the student based on their ranking in the SRMEEE.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course Curriculum was very smooth, we have all the rights to participate in each and every curricular activity, it was very nice experience to be the part of SRM university all together.

Internships Opportunities

I have not done any internship with the SRM university but i have heard that, SRM provided best opportunity for the interns and they provided the great stipend as well.

Placement Experience

Place is awesome here in the SRM university chennai, almost 100% placement for the eligible student without any difficulty. Average package is around 3.5 LPA which is good in general circumstances.

College Events

There are many technical, cultural, management festivals in the SRM University. MILAN are the main cultural fest of the university while AARUSH is the technical fest.

Fee Structure And Facilities

We need to pay the fee yearly, but it give chances to financially challenged students to pay their fee as per their convenience which is best part here.

They are providing very good scholarship scheme as they are providing 50% fee rebate for the top 5 students in the section which is very good initiative.

Campus Life

Campus life was awesome, we enjoyed there a lot, we never felt that we are out of the city because all the environment there was mesmerizing. Girl and Boys used to seat and chat upto 9PM.

Exam Structure

Exam structure was very relaxing and smooth, we get almost 1-2 days gap between each and paper. So it gives us the great chance to enjoy the examination all together.

After 6 semester the students are eligible for all the core and it placements. For us the core companies are Capgemini tech pub(32), sopra steria(5) and boeing . The highest package is 8lpa and average is 5 lpa Out of 100 55 students are getting placed each year. I got placement in Capgemini and I am working on Capgemini.

Is VIT worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements in VIT UNIVERSITY is very good the average package is 8 lakhs and the Highest may go upto 1 crore every year.There is a separate placement cell in VIT chennai and they give you placement training from start of the third year. Many multinational companies like google, microsoft etc comes to VIT to pick students for their company. Almost 98 percent of the students gets places in VIT. After my degree I choose to sit for placements.

I applied at PDEU, Gandhinagar and SRMIST and both colleges admissions were almost done but since my family is from Chennai, we al decided to stay close to home atleast for UG.
