Review of Chandigarh University

You will get a lot of student friendly environment here. Seniors, teachers and staffs are very good. As university was just established in 2012. It has progressed alot, and also it is a fastest growing universoty of Asia. Recently it also got the NAAC A+ grade, so you can guess that the type of services they are providing is fabuluous.

Course Curriculum is good in comparison to other colleges. And about exam, you have two give Two mid semester exams, assignments, projects, online quize, surprise test which comes under internal exams. And after that you have to external exams. You should be qualified allover in the particular subject to get a passing grade.

Placements and job oppurtunitues are also good. And yes, it also provide internship, but as I am a 2nd year student, I don't have any experience about it. But while discussing with the seniors they have said that it is very good.

My college organises many ecmvents in a year like Frshers party named as Aaghaz. Then it also organises the CU Fest in which universities from all across the india comes to participate. It also organises the Folklore competitions in which international teams come sto oarticipate in cultural events. Teams come from many countrues like France, Italy, Germany, Japana. Thailand and many more. It also organises technical competitions like Innovation day, Tech fest, and last year Giogle and Nasa also organised their events in the universities itself in which students from North India participated.

My course fees is 80, 000 rupees per semester. I think the type of facility and resources they provide and it is a reasonable price. And if you want a hostel its fees vary from 75, 000 to 1,00,000 per year.

Many scholarships are offered in the college time to time. They have a different criteria for the scholarship like if you have got more than 90% in class 12th you will get 50% scholarship and if you have qualified for Jee Mains then also you will get. And if you have secured good marks in the Entrnce exam scholarship upto 100% can be offered. Plus scholarship based upon categories are also available.

My college also promotes sports and extra curricular activities and as a results my college students have won many medals and awrds in the national and international level for outstanding performance. It also organises national level competition for cultural events.

Hostel infrastrucuture is good. It comes with 24 hours supply of electricity, water, and Wifi connections. And if you are facing any problem and if you complain about it, it will be resolved with in 24 hours.

Alumni network is not so good. As university was only established in 2012 and we don't have a large number of alumnies but I'm intouch woth some of my seniors and they always help me in guiding about my career or anything else. They are very supportive to us.

I have firstly attempted the entrance exam and qualified it, then they had checked my class 12th marks after that I git admission in my college. But you can also get Direct admission in the college if you have good marls in 12th and you don't want merit basis scholarahip.

Could be more better, Many of the teachers don't have the knowledge about the subjects which they are teaching, further some of the teachers can't match the level of students and can't express their knowledge.
