Entrance Preview

To get into the college we have to write its own entrance exam SRMJEEE .I choose this college because its one of the best private university in India and i was near to my home.

Internships Opportunities

Many top companies like google, Texas instruments ,Honeywell , amazon and many more comes the college to offer job and internship to the students with high package.

Placement Experience

Placement and job opportunities its one of the top private college to provide huge jobs in day one companies. The placement is more than 90%. There is a huge change for CS and IT students to seat in many companies for placement .Other branches also get large opportunities to get placed in MNCs .In year 2015 CTS,WIPRO,INFOSYS 3689 students in total were placed with package of 3.0 - 3.5 Lakhs per annum.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees for most undergrad courses are between Rs 1.5 to 2 lakh a year except for Aerospace & Nanotechnology for which it is Rs 350,000 a year. This fees may vary as i have mention the fess at my times.

Placement Experience:

After 6 semester the students are eligible for all the core and it placements. For us the core companies are Capgemini tech pub(32), sopra steria(5) and boeing . The highest package is 8lpa and average is 5 lpa Out of 100 55 students are getting placed each year. I got placement in Capgemini and I am working on Capgemini.

Is VIT worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements in VIT UNIVERSITY is very good the average package is 8 lakhs and the Highest may go upto 1 crore every year.There is a separate placement cell in VIT chennai and they give you placement training from start of the third year. Many multinational companies like google, microsoft etc comes to VIT to pick students for their company. Almost 98 percent of the students gets places in VIT. After my degree I choose to sit for placements.

I applied at PDEU, Gandhinagar and SRMIST and both colleges admissions were almost done but since my family is from Chennai, we al decided to stay close to home atleast for UG.
