Remarks

Many things could improve and many things are already great and some issues like quality of education is a serious issue of concern. But in this amount of fees it was worth it. For further improvement they need to increase the fees.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

It was a problem here as the the Carriculam of MBA was very simple and silly. That kind of MBA can be done by a 12 class student. There should be more practical and operational subjects rather than simple theory. Exam structure was good is a way of commesment but it was silly in terms of quality as simple and easy questions were there. The more sheets you fill the more marks you get. It did not heard any body failing. Exam was just a formality. I did graduation from DU, I didn't even study for exams many times as it was so easy to get pass.

Placement Experience

5

This was the best part of university. Students were first filtered by Training and pre placement program (TPP). So that only serious students sit for placement. Al most 80 to 85 companies came for hiring. But the average package was 3.5 to 4.5 for MBA. That is not that good. But few firms were there with very good package so there your capibilities stand. As per fees of college there were giving very good placements. If you work hard a little you will get place easily.

College Events

4

Events were again very big thing at Chandigarh Univesity. There were 2-3 fests every year which were celebrated at a university level.Very good preparations and very amazing events with many stages across the campus and very happening atmosphere.Plus there were some tashan nights with 9x Tashan channel which brought many star Punjabi singers for event. There were many movie promotions as well in the campus.

Fee Structure And Facilities

This is again good part of Chandigarh university. It was very affordable i.e. only 3.25 lakh for MBA and it was easy to submit. You can submit manually or via net also. Plus it was not yearly , it was semester wise which makes it more easy and not a burden for pocket. It was worth it with this fees.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes. If you are graduate from CU then you will get some percent of scholarship for post grad. There were scholarship with Good CAT score i.e. more than 80 percentile. If your are a ward of defence personal then again there was a scholarship of certain percent. And there was discount for SC ST And Obc of Punjab state.

Campus Life

4.5

This was also good in some fields and some it was very poor. If I talk about Sports than it was great there were many sports scholarship and attendance and food benefits also. You can practice till late night and there was a big ground and many advance sports equipments. But if I talk about theatre, dance and drama. It was very poor. Being a DU graduate and Delhi secondary education Pas out and a theatre enthusiast , the level was very poor.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

I didn't opted for hostel but yes I have some information. It was 75000 yearly with 4 people occupancy in room. Only with fan, bed and cupboard. They had a very strict atmosphere and quality of food was sometime average and sometimes below average it was not amazing. The amount which was taken facility should be improved.

Alumni/Alumna

There is seperate alumini club and a online portal for Alumini students. But it was a forced one. We were asked to register before leaving and it was just a formality. No one is concerned of the portal and hardly meet and come across university people like an alumini.

Admission

I just visited the college campus and they guided me simply. No entrance and no merit, it was easy to get in Chandigarh University. Just I met the counselor first and they told us the whole process and fees and we followed the path.

Faculty

2.5

Faculty was again an issue and a matter of concern , the teaches and professors were beginners and traine teachers for MBA as well. Most of them were unable to Handel the class as well and that was the main reason of high atrition ratio of faculty. But few of professors were amazing as well they give amazing class with relevant examples in class. But ratio was 1 good in 7.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements from the 7th semester or 4th year. Many companies like HDFC, ICICI, Local companies and firms visit for placement drive for various roles. The average package offered by university is around ?3-4 lakhs but only 30-40% of students successfully secure the on-campus placements.
