Remarks

Last words about this university is that this University has positive things more than negative, not only if you to see critically also if you see normally. The campus environment is best as everywhere you will see greenery and cleaniness. As these are very important for a better growth and focus and also gives a hope for the better future.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

The courses they offers are quite large in number so that students have many choices they can choose what best for them. And also it shows and creates a diversity in the college. My opinion is that having to many courses if you can manage that is very good. Exam structure are 2 Mid Semester test 1 final exam per semester.

Placement Experience

3

Placement records are very good especially in Computer Science engineering last year Amazon company II gave a package of 31.7 7 lacs per annum that is best placement till date in this University. In other branches also like hotel management the placements are good last year the maximum placement is 12 lacs per annum. Another branches like BA and BSc the college offers many extra curricular activities. Yes they also offer internship programme. I am in first year so I have to go for internship program in my second or third year.

College Events

4

In this University they organise many events like Tashan nites, DJ night and many annual events like competition in various sports. In 2019 they hosted 31st Inter University National Youth Festival that was among 100 + universities across India. Many Bollywood celebrities and singers have visited in CU to entertain the students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is very diverse according to the courses they offer. For some courses like in engineering it is very expensive but for degrees like Bachelor of Arts and Science it is affordable for almost every person. But somehow I think the money they charge is not worth the education the give.

Fees and Financial Aid

If you want to opt for engineering degree you will get three types of scholarship based on 12th merit, CU SAT entrance exam and on JEE Main Score. If you get rank under 50000 you will get a 100% scholarship for every engineering degree. In other departments also you will get scholarship based on 12th merit and CU SAT entrance exam. Yes also they offer educational loan for students at very low interest.

Campus Life

4

Extra curriculum activities are the best part of this university as they focus more on practicals instead of theory. Students are also divided into several clubs based on their department and their stream. The campus also have almost all the sports playground and coaches so that Inter University sports competition can also take place. In my opinion the extra curriculum activities are very good

Hostel Facilities

4

I didn't opted for hostel I am living as a paying guest near about 5 kilometre from the university. I asked my friends who are living in hostel, they tell me about that hostel infrastructure and service is good but the food is not up to the mark as this is the constant problem for every hosteller.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes they are very helpful. The best part is ragging is strictly prohibited in this university. So that seniors and juniors can have a better relationship among themselve. They guide us very nicely and also share their Experience so that are hurdles can become easy easy for us in future.

Admission

I received a call from Chandigarh University when I have to appear for my JEE Main next month. They tell me about their admission process, scholarships and fee structure in detail. After confirming all this I enrolled my self in the university online by their website. Admission process is very simple also based on merit list and entrance exam for scholarship process. To get admission in any course eligibility criteria are somewhere same but differs for some. You will get all details on their website.

Faculty

3.5

Faculties are very supportive and frank and helpful in nature. Not very experienced but some have experience of more than 20 years. As one of my professor of History having experience of 23 years. I'll say they are not up to the mark but have skills what student needs.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I study Psychology, Computer Science and Elective English. I love everything about Psychology. The whole course structureis perfect, and they focus on practicality as well. What I don't like about Computer Science is the lack of practical experience. Exams are fairly easy and are conducted twice per semester. Mid Semester exams are short and the duration is one week. And the finals can go for as long as one and a half month.

This is a very good college. Different types of course available in the college. I choose the BA course which is not too hard. Because the college facility is too good. In the exam the time is not sufficient for the students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

If you are trying to familiarize yourself with college academics, you will need to learn how college exams are different from high school exams well before you enroll in your first semester of classes. While both college and high school classes are designed to prepare students to become contributing members of society, the environment and the approach are entirely different. You must realize that high school is designed to prepare you for college, but you are considered an adult once you walk the line and apply for college admission. There will be no hand-holding, no parent intervention, more lenient attendance policies, more independent study time, and less one-on-one attention.
