Remarks

The teachers were very helpful and nice. it's a good place to take valuable knowledge than north side seniors are good. sports facilities are there, roommates are nice. the negative thing about college is the afternoon lunch was not good.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course curriculum was far better than any other college because it is in the Southside of India and on Southside the teaches are very honest and polite the help the students so much. the exam is taken every six months as 1-1,1-2; 2-1,2-2;3-1,3-2;4-1,4-2. And after three months internal paper is taken

Placement Experience

4

The college is in Andhra Pradesh of Prakasam district in Ongole so it is near to Banglore which is a technical hub so the job opportunities are full north companies also visit there from West Bengal and another state. my friend is doing a job in Banglore the got jobs this year. our college does not provide internships we do internships from outside and the college does not provide stipends we get a stipend from our state government.

College Events

4.5

In our college first of all fresher party was organized in which our seniors perform for us and enjoying us. then after teachers' day celebrated, the college annual function and lastly the farewell session. and so many religious events like ayaapa festival, Ganesh Chaturthi, Saraswati puja

Fee Structure And Facilities

It's neither feasible nor expensive. I am from the CSE branch so fees were one lakh fifteen thousand per year it's same for ece and sees but for mechanical it is one lakh 50 thousand. civil also same. The fee structure may be varied for the regional

Fees and Financial Aid

No there is no facility provided by the college. you have to manage by yourself. the college provides some documents to take a loan from any bank at their own risk. I managed my fees from my hometown bank and my expenditure from State government scholarships.

Campus Life

4

Yes, there is a big lab for all branches. a big floor for computer labs in which we learn c, c plus, Java, etc, And for mechanical, there is a big hall for working lab. and also for ece and eee. Activities are there in the annual function. And big opportunities in sports in cricket, football, volleyball, basketball, lawn tennis. volleyball, basketball 4 courts are there.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Yes, I was in the hostel fees was not expensive it's just 40,000 rupees only. in one room four-member say they provide one bed but not a pillow. the room was with tiles and the bathroom was public, not private. There is two mess one is a north mess and the other is a south mess we enjoy a lot. morning food and lunch and evening tea and snacks and the last one is dinner.

Alumni/Alumna

When I entered college I was sacred for ragging. but when I meet with them they just take some interviews. yes, they are very nice and helpful .they gave a party in the canteen. they invite us to their room for a party and also help with academics and we enjoyed ourselves so much.

Admission

I was selected for wbjee but there are so many costly fees after so many suggestions my friends and family members suggest to me ssn engineering college for which I review now. I got admission here in August 2015. firstly the college selects the students on jee marks basis but it does not matter what the marks are but the student must appear to jee mains paper after that they take their entrance paper as a formality. then I score good marks on entrance my rank was 8th number.

Faculty

5

The faculty was so good, polite, and humble. they help the student a lot I appreciate the faculty completing all syllabus in time and they allow perform better in class they came to our hostel if any student did not come to the college or was unable to celebrate college to ask about our health and needs. the south Indian people are so nice I love them teacher is really honest and laborious.

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

Chennai Institute of Technology is an instituition that truly prioritizes student career growth . The placement cell is exceptionallu well-organized ,consistently connecting students with reputed companies across various industries. What makes CIT stood out is the quality of its training staff. They focus heavily on communication , technical knowledge and competitive preparation ,align students with what top companies expect ,and contiuosly push us to improve and meet industry standards. Their structured training helped me to clearly identify my strengths and work on my weak areas, which made a huge difference during interviews and boosted my overall confidence. The department faculty are equally commnedable ,knowledgable ,approachable and genuinely invested in student career. Overall CIT is an excellent choice for anyone focused on building a strong and sucessful career
