Remarks

My experience with the AIMK institute was pretty splendid one. The campus is surrounded by lush greenery of Alipore. The college is good especially in terms of placement and campus life.

Course Curriculum Overview

We celebrated many events in the college campus. The faculty motivates students to participate in sports activities and cultural events. Many guest faculties make appearance in the campus for delivering guest lectures on various topics

Placement Experience

The placement record of our college has been excellent over the past eighteen years. The placement record is almost 100% with an average salary package of 5.50 LPA. Placement drives usually start in the month of September, and by the end of November, more than half of the batch gets placed. Almost the entire batch gets placed by the end of February.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee is quite nominal and at par with other management institutes. They charge around 5 lacs for the entire course, which is at par with other private institutes.

Campus Life

The college resides in the posh area of Alipore, so the connectivity is good. Various events take place in the college in an academic year such as Nostalgia and Bazaare. The college has a good campus crowd as most of the students are from the Army background.

Admission

My family is from army background, so the AIMK was on top of my priority list. So I after scoring good in CAT I applied online, for the MBA program. My name appeared in the first merit list. The admission process was pretty straightforward.

The quality of teaching is poor. Faculty is qualified per say, but there is a lack of teaching skills as per my personal experience.

Honest Review of BIBS

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the course only because of our HOD, but after completing my course, he left the course. He has helped us with all the things like web development and seo skills. By doing it practically for every student, he offers a domain for every student. I had difficulty with Google Ads & meta ads because it was taught by another faculty. The exam times were different by 3 months.

Placement Experience:

Till now I am seeing in my own eyes that in previous year, there is a 270 student in marketing and now right now the 15 student left to place and rest of the team are already placed to a many companies like ENYF Flipkart in Bandan Bank ICICI bank in a mini sector in FMCG also and FMCT also, but and retail, but I told that the ratio of placement is too higher than other college and also giving the good package is. The main thing with the job rule should be maintain the package.

IIM Calcutta is in an excellent location. There were 172 companies on campus, offering approximately 520 jobs. IIM C had a 100% placement rate, with the majority of companies coming from Consulting, BFSI, Marketing, and IT. The average package was around 28.5 lakhs, with the highest domestic CTC being 60 lakhs.

Remarks:

It is one of the renowned institutes in Kolkata. But after admission got the clear msg. It is renowned for its engineering degree only not for PGDM or MBA. They even dont have proper faculties to teach students. I majored in Business Analytics, but back to then in 2019 there was not even one teacher who have subject knowledge.

Only good remarks I can give for my college, but one bad thing is that it's very far away from my place as I stay in Howrah it took around 2 to 2½ hrs journey for college.

Remarks:

College course structure is good but as faculty are not good implementation is bad. Need company visit and better placement. More focuses on MBA rather than the additional courses. Apart from this, it's a good college.

Remarks:

The good things I like is that the teachers teach through the slides prepared by himself and also told student to prepare PowerPoint presentation and deliver in the class and also give different case study to solve the problem. Only missing thing is that the student are getting less practical knowledge as compare to theory paper.

The good thing about this college are the activities that take place every Saturday, which is quite interesting and knowledgeable. The bad thing about the college is that the departments are divided on the basis of their courses so the students do not gather as a whole bunch of college.
