Course Curriculum Overview
The diploma course covered the basic of all the disciplines. They taught us about all the subjects in brief. The assignments and practicals made the schedule a little hectic
Placement Experience
The placement is good in the IHMCT. Lot of industrial exposure. Although, I wasn’t interested in the placement, as such.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The diploma fee is 33,000. There are no additional charges. The infrastructure could have been better. Ventilation is poor in the new building.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are no scholarship offered by our college.
Campus Life
FANDANGO is the main event happening in the college. It's a food festival which brings so much crowd in the college at that time and it will be an unforgettable memory. Catafest is the arts festival, Sports Day is a full day programme which include games and athletics, Onam celebration, Christmas celebration, Holi and Diwali celebration is the best.
Alumni/Alumna
The official body representing the alumni of the IHMCT, Kovalam is known by the acronym AAIHMK (Alumni Association, IHM Kovalam). The alumni visit the campus to give inspiration and guidance to the students of the IHMCT, this in turn was also valuable for us, since it presented a nice networking opportunities for the students
Admission
Admission to the diploma course was on merit basis. The candidate must have cleared class 12. I was granted admission after the document verification.
Faculty
Faculty are okay, apart from some issues here and there. The overall quality of education is good. But the student teacher relationship could improve. Certain classes are smart class. Study materials are provided for all the course subjects. No course related assistance was provided by the faculty
