The college pays a lot of attention towards sports. Sports matches are organised throughout the year. Our college even inter-college table tennis tournament. Workshop on various medical advancements were pretty nice and helped us staying abreast with the latest technologies.
Course Curriculum Overview
The BDS exams are conducted annually for four years, while the university prescribed exams are biannual. The course structure focussed on scope, definitions, subdivisions, and interpretation of anatomical terms, planes, anatomical positions, elements of anatomy etc. The detailed course structure was very helpful in making us capable dentist.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The BDS course fee stands somewhere around 540,000 INR per annum. The total course fee was around 20 lacs. The college does offer some assistance for the needy and meritorious students.
Campus Life
Campus life is pretty decent and everyone is pretty friendly around here. Buildings and entire Infra is pretty damn cool. College also provides transportation facilities, recreational facilities, wi-fi facility, etc. Overall facilities are good. Fest is pretty good and had very good performances which were pretty nice and entertaining.
Admission
Admission is on the basis of the NEET UG exam. Though the college is affiliated to the RGUHS university, the counselling and seat allotment is done by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA). Eligible candidates are invited for a round of interview, where eligibility is calculated on the basis on the overall performance in academics.
Faculty
Faculty is qualified and has a lot of potential. They invite various guest faculty members to deliver lectures on the latest advancements in the dental industry and the technological advancements which facilitated the advancement of dental science. Faculty members are well qualified and had plenty of experience in the field of teaching
