Academics and Placement

It is good to join here, based upon our talent and hard work we can grow. The academic and examination system is changing slightly and it is good. The placements are slightly increasing and internship opportunities are provided to the student.

Course curriculum is purely autonomous and the regulations may change 5 years once.Now, at present the exams are conducted in computer system. There are 2 continuous assessment test and a practical examination and semester exams.

Placement opportunities are good. Both core and service based companies visit our campus. Cs/IT students gain more opportunities than other course people. The companies will internship for about 6 months to 1 year and it will stipend based on company.

Cultural Fest Enthusia - 2 Day cultural Fest Annual Day Sports Day Swaram - It is a function where celebrities visit our college and by collecting the ticket amount we help needy people. Open House Exhibition - In this everyone will showcase their own talents Department Functions - It is an inter department function.

The fees structure is different for management people and counseling. It is not that much too expensive. Bus facility is provided by the college and transport fees changes according to the distance. The hostel with food and Wi-Fi connection is provided.

The scholarship is provided by the college based on certain criteria and limitations. It varies based on the person. Loan facility is not provided by the college. We have to approach for loan separately.

The excurricular activities can be Yoga, games, and we can expose our talents in cultural events. The practical labs are provided and the classes are conducted weekly once. Sports is purely based on our interest.

Alumi details are maintained by the management. Alumni meets will be conducted by the college. I think there is no alumni network so that the students are not able to interact with alumnus. If if is maintained it will be helpful.

I applied for Anna University counseling and based on my cut off mark there are various colleges listed and I have selected Kongu engineering college.Then, I visited the college and fill the admission details.

They are too friendly, We can ask doughts freely, they help a lot.Practical sessions are conducted by them.They help to attend our interviews in an easy manner. They provide us an environment where we can able to expose our views.
