My college life

Positive point of this college is infrastructure of this college, modified cafeteria, campus life and regular modifications in teaching skills and teaching ways. A major negative point of this college is that the main university road of this college is open for outsiders also which results in lack of privacy and lack of vibes of college life.

Course curriculum is quite good in the college and the structure is same as the structure of IITs and NITs. Teaching aids are also good as every year they bring some transformation in teaching skills. Coming to exam structure, it includes two unit tests and one main paper which we usually called end semester papers. Both unit tests are of 20 marks and main paper contains 60 marks. One subject contains 100 marks which includes marks of end semester paper, unit tests and additional 20 marks for internal assessment which includes marks for attendance and assignment.

Placement and job opportunities are quite decent in this college. Some of the branches like CSE, ENTC,Mechanical have core placements but in mechanical branch packages are somewhat low from other branches. Average package of mechanical branch is 4.5 lpa but in CSE, CSBS, ENTC average package is 8-10 lpa. College also provides decent internships to students. College has tie up with internshala which is a great platform for internships in different fields.

The main function in this college is Bhartiyam which is a 3 day fest. Despite of this some other celebrations are also celebrated like engineers day, DJ night, Ghajhal night. First day of main event of the college Bhartiyam includes different types of technical workshops which will be of whole day. On second day many quizes, gaming workshops are held and after that dance competition, singing competition are there and the third day is only meant for the party for students which includes DJ night.

Fee structure of this college is quite low as compared to other engineering colleges. Fees of B. Tech course in this college is 120000 per year and has an increment every year but not very high. There is no any type of concession given by college in any way.

There is no any type of scholarship or feeship provided by this college not even if you have achieved a decent rank in the entrance exam. Talking about loan facilty, college administration will only provide a letter informing about the fee structure of whole course and additional charges(if any) which can be submitted to bank for education loan purpose.

Labs are quite efficient in this college. All labs are contains all types of machines and all other accessories which comes in use. Sports activities are also there in this college but not very good. Sports activities are limited to this college only as there is not any types of competitions.

The best part of this college is the friendly nature of seniors. Honestly in all colleges freshers have a great fear of ragging but this college is absolutely free from this part. Despite of this in this college seniors are very friendly with juniors and helps them in every type of problem.

I got admission in this college through a seperate entrance test of this university. This college do not accept jee mains score for admission. After clearing entrance test there is a councelling process in which students have the chance of on spot admission as seats are limited. Students have to pay fees immediately with admission form which includes academic fees+ academic kit fees+tax. After paying fees and submitting addmission form one will get official letter of admission from college

Faculty members are efficiently educated and have friendly nature with students. Although they are more concerned about lectures and studies but they also conduct music and motivational sessions for students.
