Course Curriculum Overview

The college follows the full course curriculum of MAKAUT. The prescribed syllabus is completed within scheduled classes. Our mentors also guide us on how to groom ourselves apart from bookish knowledge also. The morning assembly helps us to get concentration on classes.

Placement Experience

As a 2nd-year student I heard from passed out batch seniors that placement is satisfactory and many of our seniors are placed in top most MNCs.

College Events

The cultural fest is the best program organized by final year students. Our seniors involved us in a lot of fests. I enjoyed it the most besides this painting competition, photography competition, cricket tournament are also held. A tree plantation campaign was performed by our students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

There are various courses with their respective fee structures. I know about a lot of scholarships available here for students through which meritorious students and minority students can get opportunities for better learning. By comparison with other colleges, the course fee is less here.

Admission

Cet exam was held. I cracked it with rank. According to that, I got a chance. I reach to college for direct admission. The admission team suggested me proper installment slots for semester payments. I am highly satisfied to take admission to NIMAS, one of the topmost BCA colleges in Kolkata.

Faculty

In my department, all the teachers are very good. They teach us in an interesting way so that we can learn easily. They also use audio-visual aids for interactive sessions. Teachers also provide doubt clearing classes for better examination preparation at semester timing.

Students are eligible for campus in the last i,e 8th semester before that their not eligible for campus placement Conpanies like Tcs , Capgemini, tech mahindra, accenture etc visites the college for BCA placements The average offers ranges from 4-6 lakhs per annum the highest was around 12lakhs The highest was 12 lakhs per annum from Accenture and lowest was 3 lakhs per annum by tcs The student percentage is around 80 percent of then get placed while some also pursue higher studies My plan is to pursue Mtech from abroad and then eventually get placed at a nice company

Course Curriculum Overview:

BCA provides the students with theoretical knowledge and practical experience that helps them to go for various job possibilities in the sphere of computer application from handling projects to complex programming. A BCA degree prepares the students to deal with anything and everything. The student teacher ratio is 1:20. The teachers are very well. They always treat you like a friend. The student teacher bond is very good. They are highly qualified (P.hd /m.tech). The term exam is always on time even all the CA exams are always on time. University provides an Id and password where he/she can see their marks/ date of examination. The difficulty level is moderate not too easy / not too hard.

Remarks:

We have got good faculties. The teachers are very much friendly and helpful. Besides class one can get teachers guidance anytime. They help us with the upcoming trends. The environment is really good. The seniors are very nice and helpful. It has got two basketball court two football grounds.

NIMAS, JUST JOIN

NIMAS is the best thing that ever happen to me and talking about the admission process it was quite decent and easy I mean you just have to go to college and they took a short pi and then u will be selected but you have to give entrance CET exam for makaut as it is affiliated to makaut and u don't have to worry about CET because NIMAS will prepare you in such a way that CET will like butter I mean you will pass smoothly because of NIMAS intelligent teaching method. Good BCA college with average placements

The admission process is very easy in NIMAS you just have to appear in the CET exam and pay caution money for admission. This college is situated in the suburban area of Kolkata.
