Good Infrastructure

College of Engineering and Technology is one of the best government college for Engineering in Odisha. As it is in the capital city so good transportation facilities are there so there is no issue with that.

Course curriculum is brief & enough for each department. Earlier it was following the Bput syllabus now they have revised there syllabus & have a new one. As they are now acting as a university as a constituent of Bput.

Placement job opportunities are really good. A lot of company comes to recruit UG & PG students. The college don't provide internship to students. Training and Placement unit cell faculties are also helpful & they help at each stage of placements.

Annual function every year is celebrated. Different sports events are also conducted every year regularly. Different branch have there respective fests. For example our Mechanical branch kept branch fest Yantrostav last year.

The fee structure is feasible. As it is a government college so the college, tution & hostel fees are not too expensive. Even the college have facilities for tution fees waiver students. So its overall very feasible.

I have not opted any loan from college. The college provide various scholarships to students launched by government of Odisha. Some of them are Medhabruti, North South foundation, Scholarships based on marks scored.

Labs & Sports facilities are good in the college. Our college has a big ground along with that a badminton court, basketball court etc. Our college has its own bus facilities for day scholar students. Labs are well structured and all the machines are in operable condition.

Hostel facilities are really good. Friendly environment is maintained at hostel. The college has 2 boys hostel & 2 girls hostel. Mess food is of average quality like any other mess. But all the hostelite stays like a family within them.

Senior & Alumni are really helpful. They guide us at every stage. Alumni comes to college & talk with students. They motivate us. During induction programme they comes & help the new students to motivate & tell how to stay active & positive in there Engineering life.

Through Odisha Joint Entrance Examination B Tech Lateral Entry. I got a good rank then went for counseling & choice preference through Odisha Joint Entrance Examination online site. I got selected for this college then I took the admission over here.

Faculties are really helpful & we have a good relationship with them. Classes are arranged regularly by them. Faculties are well experienced & have a good educational qualification with a nice teaching background.
