MIT Pune:

• MIT Pune is a privately deemed university since it has been officially renamed as Dr. Vishwanath Karad MIT World Peace University (MIT-WPU).
• It is situated at Kothrud, Pune, and offers courses such as engineering, pharmacy, science, management, design, etc.

Avantika University:

• Avantika University is a design-centered university located at Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. It is the first university in India to integrate liberal arts with engineering and design which makes it quite unique.
• It offers courses such as architecture, fashion designing, etc. to name a few.
• The university has academic collaborations with the MIT - Institute of Design (MIT-ID).
