Which is better, K J Somaiya or SK Somaiya?
K.J. Somaiya vs S.K. Somaiya — two institutions from the same Somaiya Vidyavihar University trust, but VERY different in what they offer.
K.J. Somaiya College of Engineering / K.J. Somaiya Institute of Management:
- K.J. Somaiya = Kumarpal J. Somaiya group — the flagship institutions under Somaiya Vidyavihar University (SVU), Vidyavihar, Mumbai.
- K.J. Somaiya Institute of Management: One of Mumbai's top MBA programs. NAAC A+. Average placement ~14-18 LPA (MBA). Competes with SPJIMR and NMIMS for top 5 B-schools in Mumbai.

Can i get admission in bsc maths with 48% in borads?
SK Somaiya College does not mention any fixed percentage to get admission in the BSc program. All it says is that the candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent in any stream with Mathematics as one of its subjects. The detailed SK Somaiya BSc eligibility criteria as released by the institute are as follows
The candidate must have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination conducted by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, in the following subjects:
- English (Higher or lower level) carrying 100 marks.
- Any one of the modern Indian languages or modern foreign languages or any classical language (Higher level or Lower level) or information Technology carrying 100 marks.
- 4 other subjects from among the subjects mentioned below carrying a total of 400 marks.

- 3 other subjects from among the subjects mentioned below carried a total of 300 marks and one more subject from among the remaining optional subjects carrying 100 marks as prescribed for the H.S.C.
