AIIMS Delhi offers a robust internship program starting from the 5th year, with a stipend of around 30,000, and its reputation as the top medical college ensures strong career prospects and job placements. The curriculum is intensive, focusing on clinical exposure and practical skills early on, which significantly enhances employability. In contrast, AIIMS Bhubaneswar, while a good institution, doesn’t have the same level of recognition or resources, which may impact its students' job opportunities and salary packages. For those looking for the best internship experiences and future job prospects, AIIMS Delhi is clearly the better choice; however, if you're drawn to a smaller campus environment and still want a solid education, AIIMS Bhubaneswar could be a fit.

Rankings based on closing ranks this year up to the 3rd counseling (spot admissions are a luck game, so they shouldn't be counted) in the UR category: AIIMS, New Delhi (AIR 52), AIIMS, Jodhpur (AIR 390), AIIMS, Bhopal (AIR 621), AIIMS, Bhubaneswar (AIR 665), AIIMS, Rishikesh (AIR 787), AIIMS, Raipur (AIR 1026), AIIMS, Patna (AIR 1180), and AIIMS, Nagpur (AIR 1461). The above colleges offer 50/51 seats in the UR category, compared to the following colleges that offer 24/25/26 seats in the UR category: AIIMS, Bathinda (AIR 1571), AIIMS, Telangana (Hyderabad/Bibinagar) (AIR 1649), AIIMS, Gorakhpur (AIR 1778), AIIMS, Mangalagiri (Guntur) (AIR 1784), AIIMS, Raebareli (AIR 1829), AIIMS, Kalyani (AIR 1980), and AIIMS, Deoghar (AIR 2015). Honestly, apart from AIIMS Delhi, it doesn't matter much which AIIMS you choose. Some are almost equivalent to top state college counterparts (like AIIMS Bhubaneswar and SCB Cuttack; PMCH and AIIMS Patna), while others are significantly less than their state counterparts (like AIIMS Nagpur and Seth GS; KGMC and AIIMS Gorakhpur and Raebareli). In MBBS, the college doesn't matter as much. So, make your decision based on your comfort! Thank you!

AIIMS Delhi stands out with its exceptional faculty and a vibrant campus life, making it the top choice for many aspiring doctors. The curriculum is rigorous, focusing heavily on clinical exposure starting from the second year, and the internship opportunities are vast, providing valuable hands-on experience with a high stipend. In contrast, while AIIMS Bhubaneswar also offers solid training, it may not match the comprehensive resources and networking opportunities available at AIIMS Delhi, which hosts Asia's biggest medical fest and has superior facilities. Personally, I would choose AIIMS Delhi for its unmatched reputation, better faculty-student ratio, and extensive extracurricular activities. If you thrive in a competitive and resource-rich environment, AIIMS Delhi is the way to go; however, if you prefer a less intense atmosphere, AIIMS Bhubaneswar could be a good fit.

You can't compare a 60-year-old national best institute with newer ones. But yes, if you stack them against state medical colleges, they are definitely on par with them. For more information, you may refer to: Pros and cons of opting for state medical colleges over AIIMS for UG., and Are all the departments functional at AIIMS Jodhpur?.

AIIMS Delhi clearly stands out in terms of value for money when compared to AIIMS Bhubaneswar. With an incredibly low total fee of just ?5856 for five years, AIIMS Delhi offers unmatched ROI, especially considering the ?30,000 stipend during internships and the prestigious faculty that enhances your learning experience. While AIIMS Bhubaneswar might provide a good foundation, the extensive resources, vibrant campus life, and superior internship opportunities at AIIMS Delhi make it the smarter financial choice. I’d recommend AIIMS Delhi for anyone serious about maximizing their investment in medical education.
