Honestly, the placement scenario for the Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) is quite encouraging if you’re proactive. The college organizes placement days where multiple companies come to recruit. I know students who got internships and jobs at well-known firms, and many companies focus on marketing roles. However, it’s essential to stay on top of your studies and be involved in extracurriculars to stand out.

The placements for the Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) at Wilson College are pretty decent. After completing the 5th semester, students become eligible for campus placements, and companies like Colgate and J.P. Morgan come to hire. I heard that around 60% of students get offers, which is not bad.

The highest package I've heard of is 3,00,000 per annum from Morgan Stanley. So, if you perform well, there's a good chance to land a job right out of college.

Being part of the Wilson BMS program is quite an adventure. There's a lot to learn and yes, you might get scolded sometimes too. The BMS department, led by Dr. Zuleika Homavazir, was ranked 4th in Mumbai back in 2012 based on student feedback. She's very much into preparing students for the corporate world and follows a 70:30 approach, focusing 70% on studies and 30% on extracurricular activities.

Dr. Homavazir works hard to give students chances to develop their skills through various events like ADOREA, PR activities, Terry Fox Runs, HOPE events, and industrial visits. Not many colleges offer such opportunities. She's also known for providing recommendation letters, which have helped many students secure the opportunities they aimed for.

She's quite strict, especially about dress code and discipline, which can make her seem tough. However, she's also very supportive of all BMS graduates. This year, 7 companies visited our campus, and 20 students received job offers. I'm a former student who really benefited from her teachings.

From what I've gathered about the Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS), the placements are quite competitive. Companies like Morgan Stanley and Colgate visit for recruitment, and I've heard that about 60% of students secure jobs. The exposure to the corporate world through interviews and internships is beneficial, especially if you’re planning to pursue an MBA afterward. Overall, it seems the college does provide decent placement opportunities if you put in the effort.
