Hey there, If you're asking my personal opinion, I'd pick NMIT. Here's why: In the NIRF rankings, NMIT holds the 100th spot among engineering colleges in India. Since it's an autonomous institute, the curriculum gets updated regularly with new tech, making it easier to score higher marks compared to VTU colleges, which can boost your SGPA.

The faculty at NMIT are generally supportive and helpful, especially if you show interest in your subjects and ask for assistance. Most of them go out of their way to help, though there are always exceptions. The placement record is pretty solid too. Big companies like Microsoft, Subex, Nutanix, Celestream Technologies, Mu-Sigma, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, L&T InfoTech, and Mindtree visit for recruitment, although there's always room for improvement.

Just a tip: it's a good idea to visit both campuses to get a feel for the atmosphere, location, and commuting options before making a choice. Remember, your dedication is what truly matters, as most private colleges offer similar placement opportunities. Hope you find this helpful. Best wishes!

Hey, I'd go with Nitte Meenakshi over RNS IT. Here's why: it's ranked around 7th or 8th among Bangalore colleges, it's autonomous, and it's in India's top 100 colleges according to the National Institutional Ranking Framework. RNS IT is decent, but it doesn't meet these criteria.

Hope this helps. Good luck!

I think NMIT would be a good choice for you. Others have shared their reasons, so I won't repeat them. Just keep in mind that while college provides a base, it's up to you to put in the effort and make the most of it.

As for placements, NMIT is performing well, and they are likely to bring in a variety of companies for recruitment.
