Lipton wasn't just about the drinks or comfy seats. It was our go-to spot where our whole group gathered. Whether it was sharing exam tips, having deep life talks, laughing, crying, or even sharing those embarrassing moments, it all happened there. If someone couldn't reach us by phone, they knew heading to Lipton meant they'd find one of us. Honestly, we probably spent more time there than in our classes.
Then there's the canteen. Even if the food wasn't always great, it was the ultimate spot for 'Chai pe charcha'. After Lipton, it was our next favorite hangout for birthdays, photos, and enjoying the rain view.
The training and placement office brought mixed emotions. It was the place you dreaded when interviews didn’t go well, but it felt amazing when you nailed one. Every student felt those highs and lows as they prepared to step into the corporate world.
As a local, the parking area behind the admin building was special to me, being the spot where I parked my bike. It was where many stories ended, whether it was chatting with friends on a good day or pouring my heart out on a bad one. I even snapped a picture of it to remember the place. Sounds silly, but it holds a lot of memories.
In the end, my time at WCE was a rollercoaster of good and bad experiences, mostly the tough ones. But looking back, it was truly one of the best times in my life. I never really appreciated WCE until graduation hit and I realized things would never be the same. Proud to be a Walchandite!
I really miss the winter season at Walchand. After exams, most students would go home, leaving just a few of us in the hostel to prepare for upcoming events. The sight of gulmohar trees shedding their leaves was absolutely beautiful and a real feast for the eyes.
I also miss those laid-back moments after our classes finished. We'd chill at Lipton, on the lawn, or on the steps, joking around and laughing until the security guard would show up to remind us to keep it down.
I miss the vibrant campus life at Walchand College of Engineering Sangli the most. The annual festival and sports competitions held every March and April were always the highlight of my year. It's where we really bonded as a batch, and all the excitement surrounding those events created memories that I cherish.
The library also played a big role in my college life, being the biggest in the city with a vast range of books and resources that helped me during my studies. Overall, the lively atmosphere and the friendships I made are what I miss the most.
The thing I miss the most about Walchand College of Engineering Sangli is the strong faculty support we had. The professors were really knowledgeable and always willing to help, especially when it came to exam preparation and project guidance. Their friendly demeanor made it easy to approach them with doubts, which I found invaluable during my studies in the B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering course.
The close-knit environment created by both faculty and students was something special that I really appreciated.
What I miss most about Walchand College of Engineering Sangli is the sense of community and support among students. The clubs on campus were not just about technical skills; they were a way for us to connect and learn from each other outside the classroom. I remember participating in various events and activities organized by these clubs, which helped in building my personality and confidence. Plus, the annual gatherings and tech fests were always a blast, giving us a perfect break from our studies.
