There are junior and senior hostels. The junior live with a roommate. The seniors have single rooms. The rooms are given with tables bed mattress chair and a almirah. There is a 4 timing mess. The meals are very good quality and the menu is updated every week. The registration process for hostels is very easy and it is compulsory for all students to live in hostel

Hostel facilities are great on campus, although ACs are not there in the hostels. First-year students get a double-sharing room, while second-year students are allocated single-occupancy rooms. Cleanliness is well-maintained in every hostel. Meal quality is good with changing menus, and the menu also includes some international cuisines as well. Hostels are a must to live the experience and enjoy events happening on college.

The hostel facility is decent in the first year but in the second year, the single occupancy room is very small. There are only common washroom facilities available. The meal quality is decent, exactly what you would expect from a college mess

The hostels of MICA are the most creative and thoughtful place one can be. The hostel's walls are lined with graffiti. They can also be found in the hostel rooms of the students. It is a mark of the sort of open culture it preaches. In the first year, students stay in twin sharing rooms, while in the second year it's single occupancy. Some hostels are co-ed and some are not. Usually, hostel rooms are small and don't have attached washrooms, but there are few rooms with these facilities too. The mess menu is incredible and decided by one of the student-run committees. But apart from the mess, there is the canteen of MICA which is also very famous. There is hardly any student living in PG since the college is situated in the outskirts of Ahmedabad with hardly any PGs available.

I stayed in the all-boys hostel, Palaash, in my first year. The room was wholesome and was a sharing room with Fan, cupboards, storage space, 2 plug points, table, and chair. The food is the best at MICA, with an air-conditioned mess as well as the best breakfast I have personally had. 4 meals are available throughout the day Breakfast, Lunch, Snacks, and Dinner. There is also the infamous Chhota Canteen which provides food 24x7. Hostel fees are included in the 20L fees and I believe it is affordable as well as at par.
