How are the placements at NIFT Chennai?

In the last semester placement offers come up l. The placements aren't extremely great and only a few get very good packages but the average package is not bad. You can also get a very good placement from your internship and continue working there itself.

NIFT has centralised campus placement. We can sit for placement in our last year of college. NIFT placement percentage drastically reduced recently, but what you get completely depends on your quality of work. We'll probably get many options since NIFT is a prestigious institute, a large number of companies come there for recruitment. I don't have any plans yet, I'll probably get a job first and then think of how I want to go further.

Placement is 100%, NIFT offers placement at both national and international levels with lucrative packages. Summer internship is as well mandatory for each of us which also offers a handful of stipend depending on circumstances.

Nift has a great reputation for placement. The placement happens every year for two days. Different companies from all around the world from small to big MNC participate in our placements. Nift has a great placement record and almost all the students get a job with minimum more than average package.

Though there is centralized placements, still Placements are not good, The number of companies that come are less in number but depends on the capability of the student to find work otherwise (off-campus). Job prospects are open in fields open to MBA students as well as in Brands and retail segment.
