VIT Pune students get the maximum holidays in comparison to other engineering colleges in Pune.

Students get 2 weeks of holidays for Diwali.
The winter break lasts for about 20 days in December.
At the end of every academic year, students get a summer break for about 2 and a half months. Students usually spend this time doing internships or any foundation course.
From the second year, students get both Saturday and Sunday off.
During the time of fests, no classes are conducted for around 2–3 days.
