I am a second year BBA student at Christ University Bangalore. 

As per the university guidelines, the minimum eligibility requirement for BBA and BBA hons. courses is that the candidate must pass class 12th. For BBA (FIB) the eligibility is that the candidate must pass class 12th with at least 55% marks.

As you have scored 80% in your class 12th from a recognized board, you are eligible for BBA admissions at Christ University. But to receive admission for the course, you’ll have to clear the entrance exam conducted by Christ University. 

If you are shortlisted, you’ll be tested again for your writing skills. Upon qualifying these two tests, you’ll have to give a micro presentation and sit for a personal interview. During the personal interview you’ll be asked general questions.

If you clear all these stages, you’ll receive admission into Christ University for BBA.

I am a final year BBA student at Christ University Bangalore. 

Christ does not give much value to class 12th results during admissions. However, a candidate must score at least 60% in class 12th and 6 CGPA in class 10th to get admission in Christ for a BBA.

Yes, Christ University accepts open board students for BBA admission. I completed my BBA hons from Christ University in the year 2020. I chose the Science stream in 10+2 but after a few months due to an unfortunate event, I had to drop out of the school. Then I completed 10+2 from open-board. 

National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) is recognized by the Government of India and it is recognised all over India. It is equivalent to any state board. It is clearly mentioned in the eligibility criteria for BBA on Christ University’s official website that candidates must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board (Karnataka/ NIOS/ CBSE/ ICSE/ State Boards) in any stream.

First, make sure you fulfil the BBA eligibility criteria, if you have scored at least 50% marks in 10+2 then you are eligible to apply for the BBA course at Christ University, Bangalore. They also need to qualify CUET entrance exam and the personal interview round.

I applied for the BBA Finance and International Business course at Christ University. The entrance test (CUET) is not as difficult as it is exaggerated. Although time management could be a problem, I will share the strategies that I followed for CUET preparation:

• Christ University Entrance Test (CUET) comprises 3 parts which are Quantitative Ability, Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, and Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning. 
• There are a total of 100 questions from all three sections and the duration of the exam is 3 hours. 
• The questions are related to arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and advanced mathematics. 
• I think you should focus more on the basics of Mathematics like subtraction, fractions, percentages, simple and compound interest, profit and loss, ratio, proportionality, time-work, mixtures, probability, permutation and combinations, etc. 
• For English grammar and vocabulary, you should practice daily. 
• For the data interpretation and logical reasoning part, you should focus more on data analysis and interpreting, missing data, talking clues, pie charts, data comparison, graphs analysis, etc. 
• Solving previous year's question papers will help you with time management.

Yes, of course, you will be able to get admission to LPU to pursue BTech with a gap of a year after class 12th. However, you will have to submit a document stating the reason why you have taken a gap year. Try to give a valid reason and be honest about it. Also, you will have to meet the minimum eligibility criteria to get admission in your preferred BTech specialization. If you have low marks in your 10+2 board examination, then you can also take the LPUNEST exam. If you perform well in LPUNEST, you will get a decent scholarship on the programme fee.
