As a student who changed states to study here at Parul, let me answer your question. The university is around 15-18 km away from the main city so forget about renting a PG. The daily commute will be very difficult for you if you decide to live in a rented flat or room in the city. 

The best choice you can make is to stay in the hostel itself, which I have done. Here inside the campus, you’ll get all sorts of facilities, so you need not worry about going to the city.

One of my friends has recently been admitted to the BHMS course at Parul, so I can clear your doubts.

The general eligibility for the BHMS program is that you have to pass 12th from the science stream, with PCB combo, i.e. Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The general candidates need to have at least 50% of marks in aggregate in 12, and 50 percentile in NEET. The reserved category students need to have at least 40% of marks in 12, and 40 percentile in NEET.

The per-semester fee for BTech ECE at Parul University is INR 1.49 Lakhs each. Therefore the total fee for the four-year program is INR 5.96 Lakhs.

According to last year's placements, i.e. 2023, the highest salary went up to INR 30 LPA, while the average salary was around INR 7 LPA to INR 8 LPA. Some of the top companies that offer this high salary are Sophos, Google, Amazon, Apple, and Facebook.

As a former BTech CSE student at Parul, let me tell you that the placements are really good in our branch. The mess food in the hostel is served 3 times per day, however, it is closed on Sunday night. The food cooked is excellent and hygienic. They serve all types of cuisines, mainly Gujarati, Rajasthani, etc. Each day's meal is different based on the menu and you will be informed in advance of any daily menu changes. However, please note that there is no provision for non-vegetarian options.

Here at Parul, we have a weekly exam now and then to routinely check our understanding of the classes. We have the mid-term exam after 1.5 months of the commencement of class, and the end-semester exam after 5 months or so. The exams are comprised of theory, assignment submission, viva and practicals.

With regular study and practice, you’ll find that the exams are not that hard to ace.
