I’ve registered for M.Sc. Forensic Science at Parul University, but I’m wondering—why is the 97,000 academic fee asked before document submission? Shouldn’t verification happen first?

Totally valid question—and yes, it feels a bit backward. But this is the normal procedure at Parul University (and lots of other private universities). The university takes 97,000 upfront to secure your spot—this is to ensure you really do want to join up, especially since there are only a limited number of spots available.
You pay the fee and then submit and check documents. In case there is a later issue with eligibility, the university will typically have a refund policy, but it is always best to ask the admissions team for explicit information.
