B Planning is a professional degree offered by LPU that aims to provide students with the necessary skills and techniques that professional planners use to prepare spatial and sectoral plans and strategies for different settlements.
It is a 4 year long course and you are required to score 50% marks in class 12 to be eligible for it. You will also engage in real-world projects and internships to gain practical experience. The department had 70+ patents and more than 100 research publications.
B Planning students have seen more than 50 recruiters over the years with 75% of students receiving the top offers. The highest salary stood at INR 31.69 LPA. Overall, the B Planning course at LPU is really good that you should consider as it addresses contemporary design challenges and prepares students for a career in sustainable development.
Bachelor of Design (B. Design) in interior and furniture and BSc in design interior and furniture are the top undergraduate courses at LPU dealing with technical aspects of interior and furniture design. These courses offer a comprehensive education in space planning, interior materials and more.
Both the courses differ in the emphasis and focus areas despite covering the same topics. B. Design has a more design-oriented approach with students developing a strong foundation in design principles. On the other hand, a BSc has more emphasis on the technical aspects of interior design and furniture.
For the B. Design course, you have to appear in the LPUNEST to secure a seat. You can also appear in other entrance exams like CUET, UCEED, NID DAT or NIFT if you do not wish to appear in the LPUNEST exam. For the BSc in Design Interior and Furniture course, you do not need any entrance exam for admission as it is a lateral entry program. I would recommend you to appear in the LPUNEST exam to avail scholarship benefits offered by LPU.
Before taking admission I visited both Sambalpur University and Lovely Professional University campuses.
I chose LPU because the university has a world-class infrastructure. The university also provides internship opportunities through more than 700 tie-ups with national and global organizations. Microsoft, SAP, Bosch India, Amazon India, Tech Mahindra, Oracle, Cadence, Cisco, and many more are the top recruiters. So, these are the reasons why students prefer LPU for pursuing BTech.
At last, by observing everything about the LPU I have decided to be admitted to Lovely Professional University because of the better placement opportunities.

Yes, students from the aeronautical engineering department pursue their master’s degree abroad. It is one of the flagship programs of Parul University and this degree is also AICTE approved. Therefore, after obtaining a bachelor’s degree in aeronautical engineering from Parul, one can easily use this degree to apply to master's programs at foreign universities.
I am a student of Lovely Professional University.
The Credit Transfer System at LPU means that the credits/subjects studied and passed at LPU will be considered by a foreign university (that is collaborating with LPU) as their own. As a result, the student will get admission into the 3rd year of that particular course in that foreign university straightaway.
This is a foreign collaboration initiative which allows LPU students to complete 2 years in India and 2 years abroad/ 2 years in India and 1 year abroad/1 year in India and 1 year abroad. Through this collaboration, the students get a foreign university degree and ample exposure while saving a chunk of their tuition fees, which would otherwise be much higher in case they opt to pursue the entire course abroad.
These are the collaborating foreign universities for this program-
USA
Canada
Australia
UK
New Zealand
