I enrolled in the B.Sc {Hons.} Agriculture program at LPU, and it’s been a worthwhile journey so far. The courses are engaging, and the faculty are mostly experienced, which adds a lot of value. I’ve heard that the placement records are encouraging, particularly for agri-tech firms. I’m aiming to be one of the successful students in the 2026 placement drive. The campus life is bustling, with numerous clubs and activities that enrich our college experience. If you’re considering this course, LPU could be a good fit, especially if you’re looking for a practical approach to agriculture education.

Should I go for B.Sc {Hons.} Agriculture in LPU or B.Sc {Hons.} Agriculture in Amity University Noida?

F
ForgottenFerretFable Posted On : April 9th, 2026

LPU and Amity University Noida both offer B.Sc {Hons.} Agriculture, but they differ significantly in campus life and faculty involvement. LPU has a vibrant campus with various social clubs and activities that foster a rich student experience, while Amity is known for its strong faculty support and industry connections. The curriculum at LPU is more hands-on and practical, which might appeal to students looking for real-world applications, whereas Amity's approach leans towards theoretical knowledge with a solid academic foundation. Personally, I would lean towards LPU for its dynamic campus life and practical focus, but if you value a more traditional academic environment with strong faculty guidance, Amity could be the better choice for you.

How much time does it take for the end semester results to be declared after the end of exams in LPU for B.Sc (Agriculture)?

SyntheticSwan Posted On : March 18th, 2026

So, if you're taking B.Sc (Agriculture) at LPU, expect the end semester results to be out in about 5 to 7 weeks after your exams finish. I remember my first semester feeling super anxious during that time, but it’s part of the process, I guess. Just hang in there and focus on what you can control!

How is Bundelkhand University for a B.Sc. in agriculture?

CY
Charu Yadav, Posted On : October 19th, 2021
studied at Bundelkhand University, Jhansi (2018)

According to some of the reviews, doing a B.Sc. in agriculture from Bundelkhand University is not a wise decision. The overall performance of the college, the curriculum, faculty, infrastructure are mediocre.

Placements are not up to the mark and the chances of securing a job offer either from a Government sector or private sector is very low.

Categories B.Sc. Agriculture at Bundelkhand University
Course Fee 1.21 lakhs
Placement Percentage 70%
Highest CTC 2 LPA
Average CTC 1.5 LPA

If you are interested and confident enough to manage your own studies with minimal guidance and support, you can then opt for Bundelkhand University for a B.Sc. in agriculture.

Instead, you can go for G. B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, to pursue Agricultural Studies or Agribusiness.
