I’ve heard that the placement records are encouraging, particularly for agri-tech firms. I’m aiming to be one of the successful students in the 2026 placement drive. If you’re considering this course, LPU could be a good fit, especially if you’re looking for a practical approach to agriculture education.

LPU and Amity University Noida both offer B.Sc {Hons.} Agriculture, but they differ significantly in campus life and faculty involvement. The B.Sc (Agriculture) program follows a semester pattern.

• There are a total of 8 semesters over 4 years of study.
• Expect around 10 subjects per semester until the 6th semester.

In the 7th semester, students participate in the RAWE (Rural Agricultural Work Experience) Program, which includes:

• Performing demonstrations of agricultural technologies and managing field data for assigned contact/host farmers.
• Studying various indigenous cultivation methods.
• Organizing and conducting events related to veterinary practices, improved agronomical practices, entomological remedies, and social camps focused on women's health, seed collection, etc.
• Engaging in social events in villages to raise awareness about agricultural innovations, new tools and equipment, and social issues like superstitions and animal husbandry campaigns.

To take admission at LPU, you need to meet the eligibility criteria for the B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture program, which requires 60% aggregate marks in:

Studying B.Sc {Hons.} Agriculture at LPU has been a great journey for me. The curriculum offers a mix of theoretical knowledge and practical skills, which I find very useful. I’ve also made some good friends through various clubs and activities on campus. Regarding placements in 2025/26, the college has a good track record, and I’ve seen many seniors get placed in reputable companies. I feel confident that I’ll have solid opportunities as well.

So, if you're taking B.Sc (Agriculture) at LPU, expect the end semester results to be out in about 5 to 7 weeks after your exams finish. I remember my first semester feeling super anxious during that time, but it’s part of the process, I guess. Just hang in there and focus on what you can control!
