The EC Branch at LNCT is not as good as CS or IT branch. You should rather opt for another private college if you do not will to be a regular. 

• You will be obligated to maintain a 75% attendance. Failure of which is met by serious repercussions and expulsion from placement session. 
• If you have sketched out your college life as fun, lively, and full of adventure then you are requested to rethink your decision. You would not be able to spare much time from your college schedule for your skill development. 
• The co-curricular activities and various other programs are held here too but that does not add up to your development in any way.
• As for the placement opportunities, you should not be keeping high hopes. Most of the companies that visit LNCT are mainly for recruiting qualified students in the IT field. 

Other than C and C++ it would rather be essential to learn technologies. This might add up to your already hectic series of academics. In the EC branch, the students are not provided with decent high-paying job opportunities other than the average packages. 

Hence, you should consider other private institutes as well if you do want to regret your decision. The CSE branch is terrific here and without hesitation, you can opt for it.

SGSIT Indore is one of the oldest colleges in MP and reputed for its courses, yet enrolling in IIIT Bhopal gives you the environment of the latest curriculum, good programming and the guidance of MANIT Bhopal. Also, as of now, IIIT is running through the campus of MANIT.

Concerning the placement scenario, the college has 12.5 lakhs per annum as its highest placement. It is important to keep in mind the fact that IIIT Bhopal has MANIT as a mentor institute which provides it with an additional edge over other colleges of Bhopal. Further, it all depends upon the efforts of a student.

When we compare it with other IIITs, we need to understand that the IIITs which were established earlier, including 4 old IIITs, are a far better choice, but if we talk about those which are new like Surat, Bhagalpur, Ranchi, Nagpur, etc., one can expect IIIT Bhopal to be comparable and better in many fields. 

Even if we have to match it with some old ones, we can expect it to point out better results in future while keeping in mind it's a fast-growth, proper guidance, and therefore, the passion for college kids towards their field of interest. The scholars are working together to make various clubs, like robotics, programming, metaphysics etc.

My brother has graduated from NIT Surathkal in 2018 and completed his BTech in Information Technology. According to his experience, the department had helpful and brilliant students, although the faculty was a mixture of average and good professors. The CSE and IT departments are the most sought after and have an average placement rate of 90%-100%, so here are some more facts regarding the same-

• The faculty is not that good due to two factors, firstly because it is not as dedicated to research as are those in IITs. For instance, IIT Bombay is excellent in research initiatives.
• Secondly, the department requires 15-20 full-time faculty members, but currently, there are about 10-12 assistant professors on an ad-hoc basis, some of them do not even possess a Ph.D.
• Lastly, the teachers are not very adept at communicating better. Some seniors had been much more helpful in the understanding of concepts by students.
• However, the department is free of petty politics unlike the CSE department, where there's a bit of tiff between the teachers and students.

The good point about the IT Department is that it has an excellent placement rate only second to CSE. Scoring good marks also is not an issue if you're able to rote learn for subjects like Data Structures, also if it could be taught using Introduction to Algorithms, then it'll be easy for students.

There are several excellent courses to be chosen to take in IIM Lucknow. Here is a list of some of the preferred choices.

• Marketing-- Consumer Behaviour – Taken by Professor Dash.
  Professor Dash has his own eccentricities. Even after leaving that aside, just doing a proper pre-read and being attentive in the class, students can gain a tremendous amount of knowledge. It is heard that AMR is even better.
• Strategy—Strategic Alliances – Taken by Professor Amita Mittal.
  Professor Amita Mittal is patient, has her own wit, and explains each strategy concept carefully. She elaborates theory concepts with real-life examples, and this keeps her audience engaged to listen. She is known to deliver excellent pre-reads.
• Decision Science—Game Theory Application—taken by Yogesh Kumar Agarwal. He is very popular among students. 

These are some of the personal choices. There are several other professors who deliver excellent lectures and are equally reputed among students.

Information regarding management quota fees is not disclosed by the institute. However, according to some of my friends who acquired admissions in the institute through it, the fees of management quota are around 2 lacs- 2.5 lacs.

The management quota fees are dependent on your negotiator, agent, consultant too. The above-mentioned amount does not include the hostel fees. It is at the time of college fees payment that the students are required to pay the hostel fees. You should consult with your seniors as they have a better knowledge regarding such matters. Although they would suggest that it would be a waste of money.

If you are interested in software, only then you should take admission at Bangalore. A few esteemed software companies such as Wipro, Infosys, etc. visit for the recruitment process.

The chemical branch at the institute is terrific. You should look into this course once as well. Your decision is concerned with building your career therefore make sure you opt for a course that would not make you have regrets later.

Manipal University is ranked 19 for Architecture by India Today 2020. The B.Arch program is offered by the Manipal school of architecture and planning (MSAP). It is approved by the Council of Architecture (CoA).

Admission criteria:

The admission criteria are the same as the other courses at MU like engineering and management courses.

The course work for B.Arch. rigorous and includes various tests, assignments, and exams. Learning methods such as block models, sketches, PBL is employed for teaching.

Placement:

There are not many placement opportunities for B.Arch at Manipal University. But the university has an internship program, in that period of time the students can learn more practical and technical skills in both architecture and design.

• The major recruiters for architecture students at Manipal are BirlaSoft, Dell, Amazon, Accenture, etc.

Speaking strictly from the placement perspective, the BArch program at Manipal University is average.
