Should I go for BALLB Hons. in Adamas University Kolkata or BALLB Hons. in Sister Nivedita University Kolkata?

R
RamRiddle Posted On : April 15th, 2026

Both Adamas University Kolkata and Sister Nivedita University Kolkata have their strengths, but I’d lean towards Adamas for a more robust overall experience. Adamas has a dedicated law library and a range of clubs that really enhance campus life, plus the faculty seems more passionate, with many holding advanced degrees. While Sister Nivedita also provides a friendly faculty environment, their scholarship options are limited compared to Adamas, which offers merit scholarships based on performance. If you’re looking for a vibrant campus with strong academic support and extracurricular opportunities, go for Adamas; if you prefer a more traditional setup with a focus on cultural events, Sister Nivedita could be a good fit.

Is doing B.Tech Biotechnology from Adamas University Kolkata any good

C
ComicalCockatoo Posted On : April 14th, 2026

Studying B.Tech Biotechnology at Adamas University Kolkata has been a rewarding experience for me. The faculty-to-student ratio is decent at 60:40, and the professors are always approachable. We have a good mix of exams, including mid-terms and end-term assessments. The campus life is vibrant with annual fests like Adinova, and various clubs and activities keep things interesting. Although I haven't done an internship yet, I’ve heard that professors actively help students find opportunities. The placement stats are impressive too, with over 90% of students getting placed if they apply.

Is choosing Adamas University Kolkata BA/BBA LLB over Sister Nivedita University Kolkata BA/BBA LLB a good decision? Is BA/BBA LLB in Adamas University Kolkata worth the fees

H
HexHunter Posted On : April 14th, 2026

Adamas University Kolkata offers a more appealing financial package for BA/BBA LLB with a total fee of around 1.2 lakh for the first semester and 72,000 per semester thereafter, plus potential merit scholarships, making it a smarter choice for those looking for value for money. In contrast, Sister Nivedita University has higher fees at 1.46 lakh per year, with limited scholarship options. While both institutions provide a solid faculty and vibrant campus life, Adamas' lower fees and scholarship opportunities give it an edge in terms of return on investment. If you want a more affordable law education with better scholarship prospects, go for Adamas University; if you prioritize a specific environment or faculty at Sister Nivedita, then weigh that against the costs.

How do the placements really compare between Adamas University Kolkata B.Tech Biotechnology and TNU B.Tech Cyber Security?

V
VirtualVulture Posted On : April 13th, 2026

Considering the fees and potential ROI, TNU B.Tech Cyber Security seems to offer better value for money compared to Adamas University Kolkata B.Tech Biotechnology. TNU's moderate fee of Rs. 85,000 per semester is more manageable, and they provide solid internship and placement support, with a reported 90% placement rate. In contrast, Adamas has a higher fee structure and while they also have a good placement record, the financial aid options are limited.

If you're more inclined towards tech and cyber security, TNU is a smarter financial choice. However, if your passion lies in biotechnology and you’re eyeing higher studies, Adamas might be worth the investment.

Should I go for B.Tech Biotechnology in Adamas University Kolkata or B.Tech Computer Science and Technology in UEM Kolkata?

N
NamelessNomad Posted On : April 13th, 2026

This isn't a hypothetical answer. I'm currently studying at UEM Kolkata, so this response includes valid points about the university.

First, let’s clarify: UEM doesn’t have a super tough admission process (10th 60%, 12th 60% with PCM, and a valid rank in WBJEE/IEMJEE/JEE Main will secure you a seat). However, I believe UEM has the potential to transform an average student into an extraordinary one (I'll elaborate on this later).

IITs/NITs are great because they attract intelligent peers. At UEM, if you want to bounce back from past mistakes (like a low rank in entrance exams), UEM will definitely provide the opportunities.

PROS:

  • (1) Better Infrastructure: The campus may be small, but they manage to fit all the essential sections that an engineering college should have.
  • (2) Decent Labs: The labs for Electrical, Mechanical, Computer, and Electronics are significantly better than those at many other colleges in West Bengal.
  • (3) Strict Restrictions: I believe rules and restrictions are crucial for maintaining a proper flow in life.
  • (4) Some Amazing Faculties (63%): Trust me, some faculty members are truly exceptional (many hold PhDs and are actively pursuing research). Check out their profiles on LinkedIn!

How is B.Tech Biotechnology branch at Adamas University Kolkata? What about its placement in 2025/26?

H
HolographicHarvester Posted On : April 13th, 2026

I chose B.Tech Biotechnology at Adamas University because I’ve always loved the intersection of biology and technology. The faculty is friendly and supportive, guiding us through our studies. The fee per semester is Rs. 85,000, which is a bit on the higher side, but there are scholarships available, like the Swami Vivekananda government scholarship. The placement scenario looks promising for 2026, with over 90% of students getting placed if they apply. I haven’t taken an internship yet, but professors are very helpful in recommending opportunities. Overall, I’m happy with my decision to study here.

Should I go for B.Tech Biotechnology in Adamas University Kolkata or B.Tech (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) in TNU?

L
LootLover Posted On : April 12th, 2026

Honestly, if you're looking at fees and ROI, B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at TNU seems like a smarter financial choice compared to B.Tech in Biotechnology at Adamas University Kolkata. TNU has a moderate fee structure of Rs. 85,000 per semester, and while Adamas offers some scholarships, the overall costs appear higher, especially since many students take loans. TNU's curriculum aligns with current tech trends, which means better job prospects and a higher chance of securing a lucrative placement. Adamas does have a strong faculty for biotechnology, but unless you're passionate about that specific field, the tech-driven AI course at TNU may provide a better return on investment. So, if you're inclined towards cutting-edge technology and want a financially sound path, go for TNU; but if your heart lies in biotech, Adamas could still be fulfilling.
