Based on the opinions within the medical community, I will provide some information on these colleges-
I don’t know much about GMC Patiala and GMCH Chandigarh, so I won’t comment on these two.
Make sure to choose a college with hardworking students. Good company will motivate you to study harder and excel in your field. Food and language barriers aren’t much of a problem in the long run.
If you want to pursue a career in HRM then TISS is the best option for you otherwise IIFT is for all other streams.

Assuming from your question you want to compare the two colleges in only the HRM courses, so, the placement packages of both the colleges are the overall package not the HRM particular. RoI-wise TISS is better than IIFT.
NOTE - Both the colleges are at the same level and are slotted among the best colleges
Choose wisely, because it depends on your goals and preferences, see which suits you better.
When it comes to choosing between IIIT Allahabad and VNIT Nagpur for an MTech in CSE based on placements, there are several factors to consider. Here are some key points to help you make an informed decision:
In conclusion, both IIIT Allahabad and VNIT Nagpur have their strengths and weaknesses when it comes to placements. It is essential to evaluate your options carefully and choose the institution that aligns with your career goals, interests, and preferences. It is also important to put in your best effort and work hard to succeed, regardless of which institution you choose.
MSIT is definitely better than BPIT when it comes to computer science engineering. BPIT is not that bad but not as good when compared to MSIT.
Placements at BPIT are getting better each year but MSIT is still leading. The table below should provide you with a better perspective on the same:
|
College name |
Average package |
Highest package |
Hiring companies |
|
MSIT |
INR 4 to 8 LPA |
INR 21 LPA |

BPIT |

INR 10 LPA |

Overall, there isn’t much difference between the two colleges. If you are planning to pursue your post-graduate studies, the college will probably not matter but your studies definitely will. You should also take into account the distance you might have to travel every day which could play a major role.
My suggestion to you would be to write down the pros and cons of both the colleges and see which matters more. Is it the college name or the college stream?
Jadavpur University is ranked 5th among the universities in India. The Department of CSE at this University is renowned for its placement and academic support
NIT Warangal is also one of the most reputed engineering colleges in India. They have a good infrastructure, a rich alumni network, and provide quality education to their students. The department of EEE is gifted with well-qualified professors and the placement statistics in recent years have been comparatively high at NIT Warangal
Hence, you can choose any of these institutes, and initial priority should be given to your interest in the core subject.
Thapar University in all aspects is a lot better than JIIT. But I am not quite aware of the EIC branch. You can interact with ex-students of the institute online, to get a better idea about the course. If you think it will be a better choice, go for it.
| Categories | EIC at Thapar University | CSE at JIIT Noida |
| Course Fee | 13.23 lakh | 9.22 lakh |
| Highest CTC | 18 LPA | 12-16 LPA |
| Average CTC | 6 LPA | 4-5 LPA |
| Recruiting Companies | TCS, Tech Mahindra, Phillips, L&T, etc. | Amazon, Adobe, Morgan Stanley, ZS Associates, etc. |
Thapar University will be a much better choice than JIIT, as it is popular among students and professionals as well. Any branch at Thapar will prove to be more valuable than CSE at JIIT Noida.
Personally, I feel VIT Vellore is a much better option than DSCE. Except for its location, VIT Vellore has an upper hand in almost all aspects be it infrastructure or placements. However, if you are not getting a branch of your choice at VIT Vellore or you are getting a less preferred branch, then DSCE can be considered. But if you are getting CS, ISE, ECE, and EEE at VIT Vellore then it should be given a preference to DSCE. Considering specific parameters
Overall, VIT Vellore seems a more promising choice than DSCE although the difference seems to be very slight.
First of all, it’s wrong to compare IIM Sambalpur with a below-average institution like IBS Hyderabad. IIM Sambalpur might be a new IIM but it is still among the tier 3 colleges whereas IBS Hyderabad is nowhere near.
My friend is currently pursuing an MBA from IIM Sambalpur and has listed the following pros and cons of the institute
Pros
Cons
All in all IIM Sambalpur is a decent choice if you are passionate about the IIM tag only and have limited options. Some years down the line it might improve in brand value as well. So go for it if it’s the tag you are after but go for ISB if you want a better teaching experience.
Yes, you should certainly go for BIT Mesra CSE or IT if you weren’t able to make it to the top IITs and NITs. Here is a brief analysis of the institute based on common aspects
I hope my answer convinced you to join BIT Mesra!
My brother is a B.Tech IT student at BIT Mesra. Here is a list of what you can expect from this 4 year course at BIT Mesra-
Thus, if the fee is not an issue for you, I would recommend you to join BIT Mesra for your B.Tech IT degree.
