One of my friends has graduated from NIT Bhopal and knows the ins and outs of the college. Its infrastructure, its internal politics, quality of education, mess facilities, and against all odds its successful placements record.
Apart from just this, there are other factors that make NIT Bhopal more acceptable as compared to NIT Jamshedpur.
Discussions, criticizing the teachers and the grading system, curse surprise tests all this amidst “enjoying” the mess food.
As someone who just completed his first year at MANIT Bhopal, here is my opinion of my college-
MANIT has good infrastructure, serene location, and a properly functioning administration. Hostel life is really fun, and you’ll have a good time in the hostels. The college has a sports complex, a good place for sports enthusiasts.
However, senior-junior interaction is a bit tense on campus. As a first year, you’ll face a good number of unfriendly and dominating seniors. Some of the spots are restricted for freshers, and seniors are a bit threatening about it.
The seniors have created certain rules for freshers, one of which is to address them as sir/ma’am. Some seniors are good and friendly too, but a good number of them like to maintain dominance over first year students.
Life in general is good at MANIT Bhopal, but the seniors’ behavior towards first year students is highly upsetting.
SIBM Bangalore and SIOM Nashik, both share good repo among MBA colleges. Both colleges are Accredited with NAAC “A” Grade. But on comparing each other SIBM Bangalore has an edge over SIOM Nashik. In terms of Placements SIBM student has fetched 25 LPA as highest package but SIOM Nashik’s highest placement package is 17.7 LPA.SIOM is a core operations MBA college whereas SIBM has 7 streams for MBA. For those who want to pursue operation management then SIOM Nashik is a better choice.

For the students of the first year who are studying in NLSIU, it is compulsory for them to stay in hostels. However, the option of going home on weekends will always be open for them. Just fill up a permission form and you are good to go. Someone I know used to be a student of NLSIU and she and her batchmates used to visit their families this way.
If you live in Bangalore, you can travel from your house to the institute without asking for permission.
After you have completed your first year you will be able to live off-campus. Knowing the busy traffic of Bangalore, it may get difficult to travel to and from the campus.
This is not allowed in NALSAR, though. You will have to spend the entirety of your course in the hostels.
Panjab University has a total of 8 boy's hostels and 10 girl's hostels (including 1 NRI hostel). Hostels are assigned to the students based on their AIR or by category. These rooms are two-tiered and Rooms on a guest basis are also available.
Now, let's take a look at the current state of boy's hostels, starting with the best.
Bus and e-rickshaw services are also available there for transportation.
According to my friends at DAIICT, it is definitely a better choice among the two. Considering factors like placement, brand reputation, and coding culture.
The points below give a brief overview of some of the advantages of choosing DAIICT over SVNIT.

Therefore, it is clear that DAIICT is a much better choice, especially in subjects like CS and IT. In DAIICT, there is a high exposure in higher studies among students. There is a good environment for competitive coding too in DAIICT. In every notable coding contest from platforms like Codeforces, Codechef, etc, there are at least 30-40 participants from DAIICT.

Calcutta University has earned many recognitions and honours to its name; it was awarded the 1st position among the state universities in QS BRICS & QS India University Rankings 2019. MAMC M.B.B.S. The Fee is INR 4,445/Yr. It offers various programs at low fees compared to other medical colleges. The hostel fee is around INR 500/- per month and the mess charges are around INR 2000–2500 per month.
If you belong to a financially weak background, then you can teach alongside your M.B.B.S. as the pay for tuition in Delhi is very good.
Considering the placement stats after doing a lot of research, one thing is very clear that IIEST ends up with 100% placements every year among which 2-3 CSE/IT students get placed in top-notch companies like Google, Microsoft at an exorbitant compensation package as compares to average package figure of the institute. However, from an independent perspective, the average salary is still at the bottom-line if you consider other tiers 2 colleges. There are certain reasons for it such as:
Recognition:
This is one of the major reasons for such placement stats. Almost nobody outside West Bengal knows that there is an Engineering college name IIEST Shibpur and the same happens with the recruiters as well. People might ask you such questions like where is your college located. Which is this college? Etc.
Alumni Network:
IIEST Shibpur does not have a very strong alumni base in the companies that can influence the companies to conduct any recruitment drive in the college.
Placement Cell:
Most of the students of IIEST Shibpur will agree to the fact that the institute really needs to work upon its existing placement coordination procedure.
Overall, the institute needs to work hard on their placement cells if they want to improve the placement stats. Then only there will be a scope that students of IIEST Shibpur will get some placements.
This is a frequently asked question among students navigating higher education decisions.
Important considerations:
For the most accurate information, contact the college admission office directly or consult the official prospectus and website.
