Can I get admission in SVNIT on the basis of my GUJCET score?
No, you can’t take admission at SVNIT, based on GUJCET score. For undergraduate courses, SVNIT admissions are through JEE Main and JoSAA counseling. Being a Central Govt. affiliated institute, the institute takes admission based on national-level examination scores.
GUJCET is a state-level examination. Colleges and state universities of Gujrat take admission through the examination.
What is the average GRE for people getting into MSCS of University of Waterloo?
While GRE is an important factor in MS Computer Science admissions at Cheriton School of Computer Science, there is not a defined cut off. This is because the University of Waterloo accepts or rejects a candidate on the basis of their overall profile. So you should simply not rely only on your strong GRE score as this doesn’t guarantee you admission. This being said, a high GPA, strong academic background with a good GRE score increases your chances of getting admitted.
On an average, it will not be wrong to claim that 75th GRE score percentile is a good GRE score. In simpler words, 161 or higher in GRE quant and 157 or higher in GRE verbal will be a good score. Lower than this will make enrollment in a top University like Waterloo much difficult.
The score of GRE quant and GRE verbal contributes towards the overall GRE score, so it recommended to aim for 75 percentile or higher in quant and 60+ percentile in verbal. The competition will be higher since this is a very sought-after subject. If you're from India then the competition is even higher as there are so many talented students applying.
So assuming your high GPA, it's better if you do better in Quant as compared to Verbal. This is because the subject of computer science is more oriented towards quant.

How many marks should I get in the TS EAMCET to get a seat into JNTUH under the cap quota?
Depending on a person’s reservation category, their rank in TS EAMCET has to be <10k for them to get a seat in JNTUH. For cap-category students, the rank cutoff is extended further. Even if you get above 30k, some branches will be open for you. During my brother’s admission a few years back, around 55k students got into the Metallurgy Department.
Thus, as a cap quota candidate, you can get a seat in JNTUH even with a rank above 30k, but this may vary if you wish to get into a particular branch.
How much percentile is needed for IMI Delhi?
When it comes to cut-offs, IMI Delhi assesses you as a whole, so they set no specific cut-off. Having a high CAT percentile and low academic scores might not guarantee your admission while having a relatively lower CAT percentile and decent profile might make you eligible. In terms of cut-off, it's important to note that IMI Delhi may keep them moderate during the shortlisting process, provided that other dimensions of your student quality are very good. While CAT scores are important, they're not the only factor that IMI Delhi takes into account when selecting students for admission. Make sure you focus on building a well-rounded profile and showcasing your strengths during the selection process.
What about the placements and packages of those students who get admission in NITIE Mumbai through GATE? What are the cutoff marks through GATE?
According to my friends studying at NITIE Mumbai, it is a decent college that provides its students with tremendous opportunities in placement. For all the courses (3 courses offered) that are offered, the students have nearly 100% placements. The packages were at par with the IITs and a handful of IIMs as well.

The GATE score cutoff for the general category is expected to be around 700-750. Since the admission process is not transparent, the marks on the basis of which the candidates are given admission is not disclosed. The expected score is rather an assumption made out of experiences of those candidates who secured scores around 700-750.

How much should I score in the JEE Mains as a general student to get the CSE at IIEST Shibpur?

You need to keep in mind the marks obtained in JEE Mains are completely based on the difficulty level of the question paper. If the question paper becomes easier, more marks will be required and if the question paper is difficult, lesser marks will work. But you should aim for a higher score so that things fall in your favor.
How much percentile do I need to score in the CAT 2020 to get a call from IIM Ahmedabad as a general category candidate with 65% in 10th class 70% in 12th class 81% in engineering?
This might be disheartening but the truth is you will never receive a call from IIM Ahmedabad even if you score 100 percentile.
- According to the latest selection criteria of IIM Ahmedabad, you are disqualified even before appearing for the CAT exam. Since you have a poor academic record, your chances of getting a call from any of the BLACKI IIMs is almost none.
- Sohum Sen, who was one of the toppers of CAT 2019 did not receive a call from IIM Ahmedabad with a 99.98 percentile solely because of his academic performance which is 81% in 10th; 72% in 12th, and 7.93 in graduation.
- IIM Ahmedabad considers giving a call to candidates who have a minimum of 80% in their 10th and 12th examinations. Sohum Sen failed this criterion and you also do not qualify considering this fact.
Other top institutions give less importance to past academic records, you can aim for them. 99.7+ in CAT and 99.5+ in CAT XAT will ensure high chances of your selection in such institutions i.e. FMS, MDI, XLRI.
