Which is better for CSE, IIIT Vadodara, or IIIT Una (in the NIT Hamirpur campus)?
One of my friends graduated from IIIT Vadodara, I would suggest you go for IIIT Vadodara. Here are some reasons as to why this is my option:
- It has a very good Coding Culture and exciting fests since the beginning.
- Students have got a lot of success in competitions like GSOC and have many GCI Mentors as well.
- There are the newly started Developer Students Club (DSC) and CodeChef Campus Chapter(CCC) too, and also Summer of Learning(SoL). The coding Culture here is a lot better than in many other Colleges.
- The faculty is well qualified and highly experienced.
- IIITV is getting better in Placements year by year with great offers.

The only drawback at IIIT Vadodara is that there is no permanent campus, which will be built soon. Also, the 32km distance between campus and hostel is tiring.

Nirma University has been graded ‘A’ by NAAC. It has also ranked 13th for MBA by Outlook India in 2020. Apart from that, it has ranked 10th among the top private engineering colleges by Times in 2019 and 15th by India Today in 2019.

Which institute is better for pursuing an MBA, BIMTECH, SOIL, or IMI?
When considering a post-graduate program in management, SOIL may be a strong option due to its flexible course offerings. SOIL offers a 1-year PGPM course, in addition to its 2-year MBA program, for individuals with at least 2 years of work experience. This can be particularly beneficial for those who wish to continue working while pursuing an advanced degree. What should I take, EIE in VIT or CSE/ECE in Amrita University?
It depends on your interest. If you are well aware of EIE and have an interest in the branch then choosing VIT will be better. However, if you want to play it safe then go for CSE//ECE in Amrita University.
I have a few friends from Amrita University, and according to them the rules are very strict and the curriculum is also a bit challenging. The exams of Amrita University are generally very tough and you will have to work very hard to clear all the exams.
According to the placement highlights of recent years, the average and highest CTC offered at VIT are 6 LPA and 39 LPA. While at Amrita the median CTC offered is 3.5 LPA.
I will advise you to do your own research on the branches and make a well-informed decision.
Which is better for CSE/IT Manipal University Jaipur (MUJ), MAIT, MSIT, USICT or BVCOE?
There are several parameters to compare B.Tech CSE/IT at all these colleges. However, I have listed the placement stats of CSE/IT branches at these to make your choice easier-
Placements-
- Manipal University Jaipur-
Various companies recruited CS/IT students from Manipal University Jaipur this year. Some of these were- Accenture, Adobe, Amazon, Capgemini, Cisco, Cognizant, Dell Technologies, etc. This year, 98% engineering students were successfully placed from MUJ at an average package of 9 LPA.
- MAIT-
Last year, 35 CSE students were successfully placed from MAIT. The list of recruiters included- Atlassian, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, ION Trading, Juspay Technologies Pvt Ltd, Bain & Company, etc. Atlassian offered the highest package of 57.6 LPA, followed by 44 LPA from Amazon.
- MSIT-
Atlassian, CRED, Microsoft, Adobe, Amazon, Google and Cisco were some of the companies that offered jobs to CS/IT Students from MSIT this year. The highest package of 80 LPA was offered by Atlassian, followed by CRED which offered 52 LPA.
- USICT
The branch-wise placement records are not available for USICT. But the overall placement stats are available for reference. Last year, various companies visited the USICT campus for placements. Some of them were- Amazon, Byju’s, Oracle, HCL, TCS, Huawei, etc.
The highest package was 45 LPA, and the average package was 12 LPA. In total, 70+ companies visited the campus, and 90% students were successfully placed.
- BVCOE
Last year, 112 CSE students and 101 IT students were successfully placed both on and off campus. Some of the recruiting companies were- Cognizant, Amazon, TCS, TATA 1mg, Yamaha Motors, Accenture,Wipro, etc. Overall, 44 LPA was the highest package for 2022, and the average package was 6.5 LPA.
The placements at all these colleges were good. However, the figures made the scenarios a bit more clear. The choice ultimately depends on your personal preference.
Which is better - the RVCE, PES University, or the VJTI in Mumbai??

Between these two, you should go for BIMTECH Noida because of the following reasons.
