It depends on you. All three colleges are good in terms of alumni and placements. But, there lies a competition between NIT Calicut and BITS.

Although both have been in existence for a long time now, are excellent colleges, both have a good brand value, one gives you a tag of a NITian and the other gives you a tag of a BITSian, the difference lies in their ranking and placement records.

NIT C is among the top 4 NITs in our country. If we consider the ECE department, it is almost at the same level as NIT Trichy. The average placement for circuit branches is around 12 LPA and the highest placement might go above 30 LPA. Additionally, a higher number of companies recruit from NIT C. BITS Pilani, Goa also provides great placements and good courses. The average CTC offered at BITS Goa is 5 LPA. Apart from infrastructure and attendance policy, other things are similar.

However, PSU visits the NIT Calicut campus during placement drives. A student of the ECE department can sit during the IT placement which is difficult in BITS if you do not take some specific courses.

Both the colleges have certain merits and demerits. The distinguishing factor can be the fee structure. If money is not a concern for you, you can go for BITS Goa but for middle-class students, NIT C would be the best option.

According to most of the students, all the branches of IET Lucknow are better than KNIT CS/IT. This is so because IET is situated in Lucknow, the capital of UP. 

1. The placement in big cities like Lucknow is much better than in small cities like Sultanpur. 
2. Students who want to pursue further education can easily get coaching for GATE which may not be easily available in Sultanpur. Every year, top rankers of GATE come from IET Lucknow. The GATE qualifying percentage of students of IET Lucknow is much better than any other institutes of AKTU.
3. Students with good ranks get admission to IET Lucknow. The study environment is better than all the other institutes of AKTU.
4. The hostel facility is available for all the students in IET Lucknow but KNIT offers hostel facilities to only a few.
5. In IET Lucknow, you can also get an option for Internal Sliding for choosing the branch of your preference if any of the few seats are vacant in that branch. 
6. Spot round is also conducted after the 4th round. These are held to fulfill all the vacant seats.

Based on what I learned from my friends at these two institutes, I will recommend that you choose MIT Manipal. Many students and faculty in the industry argue that MIT graduates are doing much better than many of their IIT and NIT peers. The reason behind this is the well-rounded personality development you get to experience at MIT Manipal.

• Campus Life: The campus life is hassle-free, unlike many other private colleges, there are no base-less rules in place. The infrastructure at MIT is great. The sports facilities offered at MARENA Manipal are one of the best in the locality. The hostel and mess facilities offered are quite good too.
