How does AIIMS Delhi treat a student who has cleared the AIIMS entrance exam on the 3rd attempt?
Honestly speaking there is no distinction between those who cleared the AIIMS entrance exam on the 1st attempt or 3rd attempt. AIIMS Delhi just admits around 350 students over the period of 5 years leading to a family-like bond among all students. No one is outcasted or made to feel inferior just because of the number of attempts they took to clear the entrance. What matters is that eventually, you managed to get into AIIMS Delhi which in itself is a great feat.
It's better you discard such negative thoughts and focus on your studies with positivity.
Do we get migration certificate in Delhi University??
Yes, you get your migration certificate after the completion of your degree. But colleges don’t provide you with it. Right after completion, colleges only give you your:
- Character Certificate
- Provisional Certificate
The final degree certificate is handed over after around 1-2 years.
To get your Migration Certificate, you are required to fill out a form. This form can be obtained from your college or from V.C. Office. Get it attested by your college and submit it to the examination department of Delhi University.

Note- students at the South campus are to apply for a migration certificate at the D.U’s examination department in the South campus. The rest have to apply at the examination dept. at the V.C office on the North campus.

Should I join IIM Bangalore given that I am already earning 20 lpa (base) at Amazon?
No, I don’t think you should join IIM Bangalore and pursue MBA given that you are already receiving INR 20 LPA (base).
If your base is INR 20 LPA then the package should be around INR 25 LPA. An MBA from IIM Bangalore will also get you placed with a similar package maybe around INR 30 LPA. This does not make much difference considering the high fees you will have to pay. In Fact you will be leaving out the market risk, performance, opportunity costs and the increment that you will probably get in the next two years.
So an MBA from IIM Bangalore does not seem a good option since you are already working at an esteemed organization with an above average salary.
What is the policy for giving Grace Marks in Savitribai Phule Pune University for engineering students?
One of my friends was a student in SPPU so I asked him about the policy for giving grace marks there. He mentioned a few scenarios where his batchmates received grace marks
- One of them received grace marks in an exam in which he actually scored 36. This course was from the 3rd semester. So he probably got grace marks because he had cleared all the subjects in the previous semesters.
- In the third year, he again secured 39 marks in DME and because he already has received grace marks before, he failed in the subjects. So once you get grace marks, it’s impossible to get it again.
- Another batchmate got a backlog when he was in the last semester of Engineering. He had got an offer from a good university for MS and therefore requested the university to give him grace marks although he had some backlogs in his 2nd and 3rd years the university granted him grace marks and he was awarded the degree.
So, to avail of grace marks at SPPU, one needs to have a good academic record. Usually, the limit of maximum marks is less than 10.

Here is the simple procedure to get transcripts from Mumbai University

How can I get Osmania University transcripts?
From Nov 1, 2017, the process has changed to get the transcripts or memos from Osmania University. Here is the whole process in brief.
- Go to this website.
- Select the Examination branch.
- Choose the online services tab – Apply for certificates online. Osmania University is a link.
- You must first register with a mobile number, Aadhaar number, and date of birth.
- Once you've registered, an SMS with a password will be sent to your phone.
- After you provide your date of birth, the website immediately reflects all of the various courses you have completed once you log in. However, new ones can be added.
- Choose which transcripts you want to request. The file size should be as small as possible, no larger than 100 KB, and only JPEG files are accepted.
- You must upload the required documents online and pay Rs 1100 or Rs 1600 for the expedited process for the consolidated memo.
- Individual memo prices vary.
- However, the expedited procedure does not work. It displays an error message.
- Only Indian credit or debit cards are accepted. Not all banks are available for electronic transactions.
