My friend recently gave his MTech interview at IIT Patna and aced it. The entire process lasted for 46 minutes. His interview was conducted by a panel of 6 members.
The panelists welcomes him and after the introduction, they went through his BTech mark sheet to see the branch and subjects he had graduated with. The interview soon began and they probed him with basic questions related to mathematics, SOM, and 12th-class physics. They even asked him to explain some answers in detail on the whiteboard.
Overall, they were very satisfied with his answers and he managed to get selected!
My brother has completed his M.Tech from MNNIT Allahabad and according to his experience, this institute lives up to the expectations in terms of placement. Here’s why:
Overall, if a placement is your goal, you are at the right place. Luckily if you belong to the CS branch in MNNIT or any other college in India, you can have one of the best placement packages. Most of the students of the CS branch get placed for jobs and internships too.
I have a friend who recently graduated with M.Tech in VLSI Design from NIT Calicut. According to him, the placements are great. According to recent placement highlights, the average CTC offered at the institute is 11 LPA.
In order to secure decent placements, all you need is the following.
You also should have sound knowledge of Place and Route; extract parameters to compare or adjust design parameters with layout changes. The demand in this field is high. Work hard and you will succeed.
NIT Trichy is leading in terms of infrastructure, quality education, experienced scholars, and ranking. NIT Suratkal and NIT Warangal also have the best campus life and experienced faculties. You won’t be disappointed in choosing any NIT for MTech in CSE since this branch is trending and career-oriented. So you can opt for any of the NITs based on your preferences
IIT Delhi and IIT Madras offer a Post-Graduation in Construction Technology and Management. To secure a seat at either of the institutes, you must obtain a good rank in the GATE examination.
IIT Delhi gives more weightage to the technical aspects of the course, while NICMAR focuses more on the managerial aspects of Construction. The curriculum of the course is unmatched, yet the placements, at times, can be quite unanticipated.
Both the courses are quite equivalent to each other on various stages whatsoever. But, when the decision boils down to which among the both is better, then IIT Delhi might win the race.
Now, the Transportation Engineering department from IITs is indeed a great course. The average package some of my seniors from this course secured was about INR 5 LPA. However, by all means, your placement partially also depends upon whether or not you are typically prepared for it.
The PG programs offered by IIT Patna are decent so it is recommended to do your MTech from here. Here are a few highlights of the program
So, IIT Patna is a great choice for MTech in any field.
One of my friends scored lower marks in GATE and has the option to choose between IIIT Bangalore and lower NITs only. She decided to take a drop year and surprisingly got even lower marks. She decided to take admission to IIIT Bangalore on the basis of the previous year's score.
So, before making an impulsive decision, always ask yourself what exactly you are seeking from your degree. Is it a high package? If yes then can’t you tolerate a good product company for the next few months and get a job? Also, if you are interested in research, then it’s better to consider better options like the top IITs.
Make a well-informed decision after considering all facts and figures.
Master in RF domain has two aspects namely research and placements. Firstly you need to determine where your interests lie. The answer talks about both aspects to help you make an informed decision.
All in all, there is great scope for doing an MTech in RF and Microwave from IIT Guwahati.
IIT Madras is the best choice for MTech in Chemical Engineering. Some reasons that support my claim are
Thus, considering the demand for PG students and facilities at IIT Madras, it seems to be a better option for MTech than KGP.
