IIEST Shibpur and Jadavpur University both are quite reputed universities. Over the past few years, the former has improved a lot too. However, choosing JU for your CSE degree will be better. Also, you should note that IIEST offers integrated M.Tech courses. 

Although IIEST Shibpur is quite reputed, its placement record is not comparable to that of JU. In the recent placement drive at JU, the placement average was 100%. The average CTC offered at the campus was 19 LPA. Apart from the placement, there are also great research opportunities at JU. 

The transformation of IIEST from BESU, has been quite effective. With time, IIEST can even become better than JU. However, as of now, JU is the better alternative.

In terms of academics, infrastructure, and faculties, Medicaps Indore is better than LNCT Bhopal. The campus has a great environment. Various festivals and events are organized throughout the academic year. Medicap’s tech-fest MOONSTONE is famous.

The university has a decent placement record. Major MNCs like Walmart, Google, Amazon, Deloitte, etc. visited Medi-caps placements in 2022. 

The best way to determine the ‘better’ college is to go through the highlights of both LHMC and UCMS

LHMC:

1. Its location in CP gives it an edge over UCMS.
2. The first-year curriculum is more rigorous than that at UCMS preparing students for future challenges.
3. LHMC has a wide variety of fully functioning societies and many competitions and fests help to make the campus life lively.
4. LGMC also holds the Medicus Conventus, an annual medical conference, conducted by Mediquest which is the official medical society of the college. Students are provided with hands-on experience in suturing, research, and many more things.
5. The SLMs or the Student Leadership Mission is a body comprising professors and students who join to raise awareness about sex, contraceptives, tobacco, organ donation, etc 
6. No gender stereotypes because it’s an all-girls college.
7. It’s Fest, Splash is better than UCMS Fest Ripple.

UCMS:

1. The curriculum is less rigorous so that students can dwell deeper into the subjects. Students are given a lot of holidays frequently.
2. UCMS has active and functional societies as well. Its most famous drama society, Manchayan, has participated in various colleges.
3. They have a bigger campus area which has a decent metro connection. 
4. It’s a Coed college so the exposure and crowd diversity is better.
5. UCMS has better hostels and students are allotted single occupancy rooms right from the first year. 

Both colleges are similar in terms of academics, degrees awarded, and functional societies so choose the one that aligns with your preferences. 

IMI Delhi is better than IMT Ghaziabad. It has a smaller batch size, so you will face less competition, during placements. The faculty base of the institute is extraordinary. The institute also enjoys the advantage of being India’s first corporate-sponsored B-School. The course structure of IMI is rigorous and comparable to the top IIMs. IMI Delhi average package is INR 15.48 LPA, as per the placement highlights of 2022.

For HR career aspirants, XLRI is unquestionably the best in Asia; for non-HR candidates, IIMC is by far the better option.

The Benefits of IIMC Over XLRI:

• In comparison to XL, the IIM tag is more well-known outside of India.

• A larger batch means a greater number of successful alumni worldwide.

• It increases the number of marquee recruiters in finance, consulting, marketing, systems, and operations. The alum network is extremely strong in finance and consulting, including leading HR consulting firms.

• After living in Jamshedpur for two years, one can appreciate it even more because it is located in one of the metros.

• XLRI loses companies despite being a good BSchool because many marquee recruiters do not want to visit Jamshedpur, which is not well-connected.

• In comparison to some B-schools, XLRI has a lower percentage of IIT/BITS students in its batch.

The Benefits of XLRI Over IIMC

• A smaller batch size promotes better bonding among batchmates.

• Gender diversity is astounding.

• Because the majority of HR heads in respected companies attended XLRI, their placement can reach almost any company.

• Because of the small batch size, even the worst performers (purely from a placement standpoint, not academically) get decent jobs, which is not possible at any of the top IIMs with larger batch sizes.

• One of the world's largest private equity funds recruits one summer intern exclusively from XLRI every year in India, which could be a very important criterion if one has that kind of profile.

IIM Calcutta and XLRI share more cultural similarities than IIM C and IIM A or B.

Ambedkar University is comparably better. It has a superior faculty base. The student-teacher ratio of the university is also lower, so each student gets more attention. Instead of traditional examinations, the institute evaluates students using innovative and more layered techniques. You will love to take part in those tests. For most disciplines, the curriculum is good.
