One thing that you will benefit from the most by studying at IIT Kharagpur is that you will learn to survive despite all the challenges thrown at you.
Firstly, its location disadvantage poses many problems like traveling long distances for food, shopping or AC hostel rooms. However, all this will seem meaningless once to develop deep bonds with your peers and end up making friends for life. You will start finding happiness in just Maggie and chai and won’t need lavish food dates to make you happy. Moreover, your personal and communication skills will develop considerably. Befriend your seniors and join societies that promote extracurriculars and you will experience a fun-filled campus life.
All this will prepare you for real-life challenges and you will be ready to face the world without the armor of the Institute.
Another distinguishing feature of IIT Kharagpur is no restrictions on data usage, LAN bans, or hostel curfew, unlike other IITs.

Without any doubt, CSE at Thapar University is a fairly better option than CSE at UIET. The academic culture as well as the availability of opportunities is way more at Thapar and you won’t regret choosing it over UIET.
The only drawback of Thapar University is its increasing fees. So if you have any financial constraints you need to consider this.
IITs and IIMs are the two most coveted tags in the country. The comparison between IIM and IIT has been a long-standing debate. The reason for their high demand is the guarantee of job opportunities at least at MNCs. The high monetary return makes both the institutes equally desired with just the difference in the nature of jobs offered.
Both IITs and IIMs have had an excellent placement record since their establishment and are known to provide excellent packages. The salary of different IITs and IIMs have been tabulated below.

The IITs offer a better ROI because of fewer fees in comparison to IIMs. However, IIMs offer higher packages in comparison to IITs. Ultimately, the choice of being an alumnus of IIT or IIM solely depends on you whether you want to become an engineer or a manager
You should give preference to PGDAV or Motilal Nehru. These two colleges belong to the same tier and offer good academics and placements. PGDAV College placements are above average. For the 2020-21 session, more than 150 recruiters visited the campus placement. The highest CTC offered to students was INR 19.50 LPA. If you are a sports enthusiast, you should prefer PGDAV, it has excellent sports facilities.
Matilal has a decent placement record. Students with good academics get job offers through campus placements. The highest CTC offered to the students ranges between INR 10-12 LPA.
I am not aware of other colleges but since my cousin is currently pursuing a six-year MCh neurology course in NIMHANS, I have better knowledge in that regard.
Overall, you will have a lot of opportunities and your schedule will be extremely busy while pursuing the 6-year MCh neurology course.
This question can be best answered by someone who has had a taste of both campuses. Fortunately one of my friends was lucky enough to move to IIM Ahmedabad after studying for a year at IIM Kozhikode. He shared his experience and the various things that contrasted in both the B Schools.
Faculty: Being the topmost B School, IIM Ahmedabad does attract some of the best faculties that are experts in their fields. They had too much knowledge and experience to impart making the classes a thrilling experience.
Crowd: While the crowd at almost all the good B Schools attracts only the best, IIM Ahmedabad is famous for its exceptionally good peer groups with only geniuses and masterminds in their respective fields.
Academic rigor: Normally B Schools offer a very hectic life with academic pressure combined with placements and clubs and committee activities. But at IIM Ahmedabad the topmost preference is Academics only. You are required to attend 3 lectures of 75 minutes of case study daily. These case studies are extremely lengthy and on average you are required to read 300 pages every day. Such economic rigor is lacking in the case of IIM Kozhikode.
There are several more minor differences between IIM Kozhikode and IIM Ahmedabad but these 3 are the main things an aspirant needs to consider while choosing one of the two B Schools.
It depends on which generation of IITs you are comparing DTU with. If you are comparing it with old IITs like IIT Delhi, Madras, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Guwahati, Roorkee, and Bombay, then the answer is no, DTU stands nowhere near them.
However, comparing DTU to the new IITs like IIT Hyderabad, Indore, Mandi, Jodhpur etc you will find that DTU fairs better in terms of alumni network, and has better placements than new IITs. You can say that DTU roughly lies somewhere between the old and the new IITs.
Within India, you will find DTU to have a strong brand name because of its rich legacy of being the mother institution of IIT Delhi and NSIT. But internationally, only IITs enjoy recognition and hardly any foreign companies are aware of the DTU brand name.
Both JIPMER and AIIMS Bhubaneswar are equally good in terms of infrastructure and academics. While JIPMER has a magnificent campus, AIIMS Bhubaneswar buildings are more modern because of recent construction. Overall, there aren't many differences between the 2 institutes. The academics, infrastructure, and hostel facilities are somewhat similar. but if I was in your place, I would have chosen JIPMER, Puducherry for UG over AIIMS Bhubaneswar. While this may surprise many, I have logical reasons to support my stance. The one solid reason why I chose JIPMER was the beauty and the places to explore.
While some might find it illogical to prefer a certain institute just because of the restaurants near it, for me it certainly is a valid point. As a medical student, it’s very important to take breaks and these beautiful places will surely take you to a different world.
However, JIPMER is suitable only for UG. For PG, AIIMS Bhubaneswar is the best option because the language barrier is a major problem in the South.
Overall, JIPMER is an excellent option for UG while AIIMS Bhubaneswar can be preferred for PG,
Among these, Calcutta University is better. The university sets the most difficult question papers. You need to put in a lot of effort to score even 60 percent. With the same amount of effort, you can score 80 percent in DU.
Naturally, CU puts emphasis on in-depth learning. CU students have a more academic-oriented life. While students of DU have the freedom to carry out secondary endeavors.
