XLRI is the better option among these. The institute has a strong industry presence. According to the recent highlights, XLRI placements are pretty good. During the 2022 placement drive, the average CTC offered was INR 30.73 LPA. While the highest CTC offered was INR 60 LPA. 

XLRI is widely reputed across the country. If you check the credentials of multinational brands operating in India, most of them are XLRI alumni. 

Student life at XLRI is much better compared to IIM L. The personality development programs of XLRI are pretty good and help students gain management and leadership traits. IIM L has a more traditional approach toward academics. 

My cousin recently graduated from SJMSOM and has begun working at Fidelity Investments as a Delivery Manager for almost 3 years now. He suggests going for SJMSOM only if, 

• You essentially prefer studying amidst a comparably smaller batch size.
• You further want to be at the Financial Capital, for either internships or job purposes.
• You prefer going for the best infrastructure and basic amenities.
• You can enjoy the brand value likewise.

You can opt for IIM Indore only if you prefer the following,

• You are confident that you can compete and stand out with a larger batch. 
• You will receive the major brand value that comes along with IIMs.
• You want to secure a seat at one of the best management institutes.
• However, the placements of either institute are somewhat similar, with relevant recruiters visiting both campuses occasionally during placement seasons.
• Both the institutes offer exchange opportunities as per schedule.

If you are looking for a college for your CSE/IT degree, IIIT Jabalpur could be a good option to consider. According to me, IIIT Jabalpur is way ahead of the other two colleges. It is followed by NIT Patna. Here are some advantages of IIIT Jabalpur-

• Infrastructure- The campus is spread across 300 acres and has a well-furnished library. 
• Placements - The placements are good and improving with each year. Here is the year-wise highest salary trend for the college-

The placements for Mechanical, CSE and ECE are quite impressive. Other students opt for CAT/GMAT/higher studies abroad. The college is just 4 km away from the Jabalpur airport which facilitates more companies to visit the campus for placements. Because of good connectivity to major metropolitan cities of India, the placements are expected to increase exponentially in the coming years.

• Hostels and Campus Life- As a fresher, you’ll be allotted a three-seater hostel room. From the second year onwards, you’ll get a separate room. Each hostel has two messes and a canteen, the mess food is good. The hostel canteens are open till 2 (at night).

Campus life is great. You can play Volleyball, Cricket, and Football with your friends till late evening. The college fests- Gusto and Abhikalpan are much awaited.

• Sports, Clubs and Gym- The college offers good sports facilities. There are football, cricket, basketball, volleyball, badminton & tennis grounds. Hostels have TT tables. Various clubs like dance club, drama club, etc. are also present. There is a gym facility on campus, provided free of cost to the students.

Therefore, out of NIT Silchar, NIT Patna and IIIT Jabalpur, I would suggest you go for the third one.

IIM Trichy is a better option compared to IIM Kashipur. It ranks higher than IIM Kashipur and has a better placement record. According to the NIRF 2022 ranking, IIM Trichy ranks among the top 20 B-Schools in the country. 

The institute wrapped its 2022 placement drive with an average CTC of INR 17.01 LPA. The highest CTC offered this year was INR 34 LPA.  Recruiters like Capgemini, Samsung, Accenture, JP Morgan, etc. were among the top recruiters that took part in IIM Trichy placements 2022.

BITS Goa is a highly prestigious engineering college in India with amazing infrastructure and campus. It's the place that has given a number of startups and other opportunities to its students. Here is a general comparison of BITS Goa with DTU, NSUT, and other top NITs based on common parameters

Placements : BITS Goa's average package is around INR 30.37 LPA while DTU and NSIT have an average package of around INR 15 LPA that is half of BITS Goa average package. 

Campus : BITS Goa is known to have the most beautiful campus in India spread across 180 acres with amazing infrastructure and facilities. Have a look at the beautiful building

Campus Life: BITS Goa has a vibrant campus life although much better than DTU and NSUT. Its annual cultural fest WAVES is held at a large scale and brings in a wave of fun activities.

Faculties : BITS Goa faculties are highly learned and very supportive of research work. They are a bit strict but that disciplines the students. 

So, BITS Goa is the best option here!

NMIMS Bangalore is definitely a better choice than NMIMS Navi Mumbai considering its superior location in contrast to NMIMS Navi Mumbai. Located in the silicon valley of India, the students of NIMS Bangalore are exposed to a number of live projects, case studies, and Industry visits. The student's overall development is given importance and their passion is promoted through clubs and committees for almost everything. Here are some solid reasons to prefer NMIMS Bangalore to NMIMS Navi Mumbai

1. Location: Navi Mumbai is a well-developed city with excellent infrastructure, making it easier to commute and access resources. Bangalore is also a major metropolitan city, but traffic and congestion can be a challenge.
2. Curriculum: While both campuses offer a rigorous MBA curriculum, the focus areas may differ. Navi Mumbai has a strong emphasis on finance, while Bangalore has a focus on entrepreneurship and innovation.
3. Faculty: Both campuses have experienced faculty members, but each campus has its own unique mix of professors and industry experts.

NMIMS Bangalore is the youngest school to receive AMBAA accreditation and is soon going to become one of the best B schools.

Even though I am a CSE student at VIT Vellore, I would like to point out some weaknesses of my institution-

1. The annual intake for all the branches, all four categories, is quite high at VIT Vellore. It is close to 5000 students each year. In the CSE branch alone, close to 1300 students are admitted annually (including Bioinformatics).
2. Placements seem very high, but in reality, large scale mass recruitments by IT firms like Cognizant, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, etc. inflate the placement figures. 
3. The course fee at VIT is comparatively higher. It is around 1.95 Lakhs per year. This too if you are a category 1 (merit) student. Around 1 Lakh per year is added if you belong to the other three categories. 
4. Advanced Placement Training sessions have been introduced for students. But these sessions aren’t really helpful in practicality. In fact 6 hours of each weekend is spent in these sessions. 
5. Those with a good CGPA get good hostel rooms in good blocks. Those who fail to score high grades are given older blocks.
6. The hostel rules are strict. This is especially true when you have to get a leave sanctioned from your faculty advisor or proctor.

NIT Surathkal, on the other hand, is a government college. It has an intake of around 800 students in all the branches, with 120 students in CSE. The institution offers top notch placements. There are no mass hirings. The course fee falls between 1.38 to 1.57 Lakhs per year. College rules are much more flexible.

Thus, based on these observations, I would suggest you take admissions in NIT Surathkal for your CSE program.
